Pope Francis warns marriage has been stretched and distorted in the United States, to the point where it is no longer even similar to the Christian sacrament of matrimony. The pontiff noted the “unprecedented changes” taking place in contemporary society, “with their social, cultural – and sadly now juridical – effects on family bonds,” referring to the Supreme Course decision in June to legalize same-sex marriage for the entire nation in Obergefell v. Hodges.

Yeah, as a Catholic, I know he is ardently against abortion and gay marriage, but doesn’t say it when it would really count.

Then he insists that we should be open to a massive flood of new immigrants. Why would he ever encourage people to migrate to a place like this?
More importantly ... Isn't there something wrong with a Catholic leader from a Latin American country encouraging people from historically Catholic countries in Latin America to migrate to a radically secular nation like ours?

When we got married we first had the Civil ceremony. Later we had the Church Wedding, whose date we celebrate as our anniversary.

Those who read and understand the Bible know this church was founded by the Messiah on Peter, as well as the other apostles and prophets in communion with Peter, with the Messiah being the chief cornerstone. This church has been visible and present for twenty centuries and has not been overcome by the gates of hell.
Which translation of the Bible do you read ? Which denomination or sect do you regularly assemble with ?
