John 15:19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

Beginning to wonder if decent people of conscience can take an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution as it now stands interpreted. Rome too became hedonistic and decadent. The growing minority of Christians despite persecution, cajoling and finally begging by hard pressed emperors, refused to serve in the Roman army or participate in civic affairs. Rome eventually radically transformed.

I’ve been living like an exile ever since I have been a Christian. It’s just gotten more hostile across all areas of life.

As citizens we have a duty to disregard unconstitutional laws. Whatever form that takes for us. We do it because we stand for the constitution when the government will not.

I don’t intend to live as an exile in my own country.

The Church in Exile lives on and looks to Jesus for strength day by day. We are strangers and pilgrims here. Heaven is our home. While we are here, we are to take care of each other and avoid being partners to the unbelievers, who have no hope beyond their very short existence here and who misuse their lives accordingly.
“Do not be yoked with the evildoers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14)

Next, they're going for a NATIONAL HOLIDAY!

When several historic events happen on the exact same day, it’s a sign:
June 26 should be a national holiday.

On Friday the Supreme Court ruled that gay Americans had the right to marry in every state in the country. On the exact same date two years ago, the same court struck down the Defense of Marriage Act, allowing same-sex couples to access federal benefits. And when the Supreme Court ruled that same-sex sexual activity should be legal in every state in the Lawrence vs Texas ruling in 2003, it did so on … June 26. It’s a coincidence, but also much more than that."...

To coin a word perhaps it is time for the orthodox to become orthosotor.

I.e. to take the grace and work of the Savior seriously. It was never a do it yourself project, but men in their pride constantly make it one.

It is a quest of opening up to the Lord and then permitting Him to have His way.

If Christians are mumbling in a room about what’s right that is one thing. If they are letting it live gloriously in their own lives, that is quite another.

Not just exiles, but persecuted. I will speak my mind if asked at work and see how it shakes out. I’ll find out how PC we are.

This will make the church stronger. The tares will be sifted out. And in the end, persecution will strengthen the church. The true church will be known, and their reward will be great.

The Lord is coming again, this will help prepare us.

We’re now kind of in the position of Egypt’s Coptic Christians with militant atheists, Muslims and the gay deities (Christian homosexual apologists) aligned in opposition.

He makes some valid points about where we are and how we got here. I’ve seen his mention of the Benedict Option, and that might have some value for creating a counter-culture. However, I am a free man — not because a government has allowed me to be free — but because God has made me free, and I am not changing. I’m not giving up, and I’m not going down without a fight.

Voting Republican and other failed culture war strategies are not going to save us now.

Those willing to see the truth have known for a long time that "voting Republican" (RINO) was never going to save us.

I don't see anything short of massive civil disobedience having any effect. And I don't see that happening without a MLK like charismatic leader organizing and encouraging it.

First of all, Christian churches should cease to partner with civil society on marriage - they should no longer require a civil marriage license to perform a religious wedding. If the couple wishes to avail themselves of any civil benefits of marriage, they will be told they must comply with relevant civil law, but that is not the church's business.

Ministers must distance themselves from cooperating with a satanic, secular regime.

And here is the supreme irony: for decades, liberal Christians have chastised regular Christians for their too-cozy relationship with "the American Way." But now, it is LIBERAL Christians who want a cozy relationship with the NEW American Way.

The only way to convert them is to shove that right back in their smug faces. THEY are now the Americans who identify their Christianity with the values of secular America. I guarantee you, THAT will sting, because they are so used to imagining themselves as prophetic outsiders. .

WHY I HAVE AN ILLUMINATED CROSS AS A PROTEST

Why aren’t those so called democrats which belong to a democrat in name only ever being called out on their core beliefs ? Nooo that wouldn’t be bi-partisan ! Ask any of those so called GOPES (Government Over the People Elite Statists) campaign advisors about depressing the “democrat” vote and you get a lecture.Democrat core beliefs showed up with booing the mention of God in 2012 which made it official. They’ve declared a war on religion particularly Christianity.Which I for one now have an illumiuated crucifix at night in my front yard facing the street (Highway) as a statement. And encourage others do as well

A DEMOCRAT apparently doesn’t believe there’s such a thing as the Ten Commandments or sin because everything that leaves their mouths is a lie. But I have yet to hear a Republican candidate even suggest even in jest mention why “democrat” lying is part of their core belief ? Never mind the use of their positions promoting clony capitalism campaign contributers financing alternate energy plans spending billions which went belly up at our expense while leaving our infastructure was falling apart......

Why ? Because it isn’t being bi-partisan or lets not forget the other trap politically correct.
