I don’t intend to live as an exile in my own country.

“I don’t intend to live as an exile in my own country.”

Nor do I. Hopefully, the worst of this pity party will be over by tomorrow and we can get back to doing what Americans typically do: solve problems.

I won’t deny its been a lousy week for our side, but I’m actually excited. You can’t fix a problem until you acknowledge it exists and the fact is, we as conservatives and Christians are essentially excluded from the electoral politics of this country. In my view that’s sort of like being banned from swimming in the cesspool. Not something I’m going to be too disappointed about. The question is “what now?” And that’s going to exciting.

Religious liberty is ‘not promised’ in the Bible.....Christians have been more than blessed to enjoy unprecedented freedom in our country as no other.... but things are changing...We now see ‘reprobate minds at every level of leadership’... in the Supreme Court, the presidency, cabinet, legislature, press and culture, so society has given way to practical atheism and moral relativism.... This decision has simply ‘accelerated’ the rate of decline.

We see that ‘we really are strangers and exiles in American culture’.... just like we started..... We should have been all along.... and the new normal may include persecution that is new to us.

To think that we deserve to live in different times is to tell God that we deserve a better mission field than the one he has given us.......After all we ARE the Church of Jesus Christ.

In our world it’s often that of an envied privilege to be the son or daughter of an ‘earthly’ prince,... who can express the dignity and happiness of being sons and daughters of the Almighty?
