"I feel like saying something that may sound controversial or even heretical. But there is someone who knows that despite our differences we are one. It is he who is persecuting us. It is he that is persecuting Christians today; he who is anointing us with the blood of martyrdom, knows that Christians are disciples of Christ. That we are one, that we are brothers! He doesn't care if they are Evangelicals, Orthodox, Lutherans, Catholics or Apostolic. He doesn't care! They are Christians."

The Bible teaches that Yeshua, the son, is eternal, not a part of time/space.
Funny, that's not what John says
John 1:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
John says there was a beginning that Jesus was there for.
You say eternal and John says there was a beginning. Beginning is a starting point. That begs the question of, beginning of what? Hmmmm?
And if He's always been with the Father, how can one be a Father and one a Son? Father's come first.
With the doctrines of the Nicean churches barring your way, you'll never get to the truth of that question.

How would I know what he says? He's not a General Authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, so if you want to know what he thinks go ask him. I'm sure he has an opinion like everyone else.

Doesnt that sound familiar? It does indeed. The Mormons are not the only false religionists, who engage in cult speak I just think the Mormons have elevated it to an art form. I say the same thing to the JWs. Being as they always come to me, I NEVER go to them, in my house, I set the ground rules. If they leave the New World Translation outside, and let me define the terms, I might talk to them. The thing is, however, I would really rather only talk to them, if they are interested in the truth. The Mormons and JWs, are intending to bring me a false gospel, and you know what Paul said about that. 😇😀😊 Let them be........well, you know.

"like the lying anti-Mormons like to claim."Yawn...color me surprised by the response...Sorry, but the Alma scripture can't be spun to suit the twisted doctrine and teachings of the lds.
I note you didn't address the comments by the other church "leaders" and their claims that the mormon god had sex with Mary to conceive...
So typical of mormon apologists.
Note carefully, I didn't dance on the edge of calling you a lying anti-Christian as you did by projecting the label of "lying anti-mormon onto me and metmom...so here's a friendly piece of advice.
If you can't stand the heat, dude, find another calling.

John says nothing to indicate that Yeshua had a beginning any more than God would then have had the same beginning.
All he said is that they were there in the beginning, and that he was God.
The Father designation is primacy, not the same as a biological Father.
You’re trying to stretch the word of God to agree with your Freemasonry.

There once was a Mormon named Jack
For being lazy, he had quite a knack
He had a bad trait
He made everyone wait
And never cut anyone some slack

Elsie, where art thou?😂😇😎
All the Mormons in Salt Lake City
Remind me of that guy Walter Mitty
Going through their life
Having many a wife
But on their souls, I have lots of pity.

There once was a Mormon named Jim
At Mountain Meadows, fired a Maxim
It was a really bad day
With all that gunplay
And it wasn't all done on a whim.
By the way Els, I am a licensed Ham Radio operator. Hiram S Maxim, the inventor of the machine gun, had a son named Hiram P Maxim, who was the very first Ham Radio operator in the U.S. 😱
oh yes, you are down 3 to 0 now, do get cracking and catch up. 😂

The Bible is God’s word to us.
His word to us is not some warm fuzzy feeling we get.

A study of Greek would benefit you in understanding the Word.

The pride of "I did it my way" runs deep in the depraved minds of man. I think you are right. Look how many people are so proud of their man made religions. I have seen it said right here on FR. On a lighter side, I think it ran deep in Frank Sinatra's mind too.

But you have to qualify for it by following His commandments or He will not give it. Mormons have to QUALIFY to live on the Highest Level of their idea of Heaven.
Only about 15% of all of them will.
Will YOU guys reside there??
- Celestial - for Mormons who have kept ALL of the laws and ordinances of their church.
- Terrestrial - for religious people who aren't Mormons and for Mormons who have not met the requirements of the Church.
- Telestial - where unbelievers go

Agreed.
People should ALSO not believe a 'church' that says certain things with great authority and bluster.
Be a Berean! Not a Thessalonian Jew!

>>Salvation is not instantly given, it's a journey.<<
For those who trust in Jesus alone for their salvation it's instantly given. Your reference to 2 Peter 1 is taken out of context. It's NOT salvation he was talking about but being effective.
2 Peter 1:8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
If your not going to use all of scripture and use it in context I'll simply discount what you have to say.
