The Bible is God’s word to us.
His word to us is not some warm fuzzy feeling we get.

The Bible is Gods word to us.
His word to us is not some warm fuzzy feeling we get.
Which is exactly the same reason the Pharisees couldn't tell Jesus was the Son of God.
"That evening he reluctantly attended a meeting in Aldersgate. Someone read from Luthers Preface to the Epistle to Romans. About 8:45 p.m. while he was describing the change which God works in the heart through faith in Christ, I felt my heart strangely warmed. I felt I did trust in Christ, Christ alone for salvation; and an assurance was given me that He had taken away my sins, even mine, and saved me from the law of sin and death. - John Wesley - Founder of the Methodist church movement
John Wesley experienced the promise that God made to all people that seek Him:
Matt 16
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Heavenly Father reveals that Jesus is the Christ by the power of the Holy Ghost by warming the heart.
I hope some day you'll lose your doubt and trust that God can speak to anyone that seeks Him directly through the Holy Ghost.
