Typical.

Sincere concern for showing yourself approved unto God.

>>I’m just asking if you comprehend what we are saying.<<

Oh, I comprehend what you are saying. It just doesn’t square with scripture. A person has to deny parts of scripture to believe what you believe.

>>What’s the objection?<<

The objection would be that in order to believe what you guys believe you have to deny parts of scripture.

hey, come on, the MPF wants to post his immediate ancestor laughing with the big false teeth and if the MPF one wants to post his Christmas day photograph with the maniacal smile, let him. The Narcissitic types are always fishing for compliments, so it’s good to show we notice his family portraits.

Not at all. We just don’t take the Bible the way futurists have been forced to take it by adopting Mr. Darby’s views. We leave nothing out and we add nothing in.

Just so you understand, if you want to show us how we are being inconsistent according to our system, then that is OK. That will also demonstrate that you understand where we are coming from. I fully acknowledge that we don’t fit into your system, so showing inconsistency with your system is no proof of anything (other than we don’t hold to your system).

Rashputin -- you should now compliment the family portraits of the MPF one. You can show some "horse sense" and compliment the one's immediate female ancestor on her nice teeth.

The immediate male ancestor though looks like he needed a shave when the photograph was being taken.

or perhaps the hairy one is the immediate female ancestor??

The mind boggles :-P

>>Satan may well have tried to start the same delusion other times but it was not the time and the Spirit would not allow it.<<

I thought Satan was bound and not able to deceive. It does say later in Revelation 20 that he will again be able to deceive so that would indicate that during the time he is chained he isn’t able to deceive. Yet now you say that he is bound and still able to deceive. Huh?

>> because we refuse to agree with anything that sells Christ short.<<

Oh you sell Christ short all right. You claim that He already has bound Satan but must not have done a very good job because Satan is still able to deceive.

Now, how about you tell me who Satan is released to deceive at the end of the thousand year reign.

Satan will be released to go about deceiving the nations at the end of the thousand years. I would not go very far in trying to speculate what form this deception will take. All we know is what we have in the imagery given to us in Rev. 20, and that is not much. Based on the language of the image, I take it to be a very short period of time. Put together with what we know about Christ coming “as a thief in the night,” it is possible that the effect will be unperceivable, esp. by the unrighteous. But that is probably all I wish to say on the matter.

Unlike the futurist, we are not given to wildly imagining things that are not taught plainly in the text.

By diverting our attention to Rev. 20, does that mean you agree with my assessment of all the other verses touching Christ’s return and the state of the Church both now and then?

Just forget it. It doesn’t say, “Satan and all his angels”, exactly the sort of detail used by the same folks in a dozen other places. It does say that an immense number will join him which in their own system says that mankind was still corrupt without Satan unbound (that little original sin thing).

They read a portion of a verse, they don’t take even ten minutes to think about anything other than the verse list on their bookmark, just leave em’ be and pray for them.

They and God measure time the same way, they redefine Jewish whenever they like. They ignore the major portion of an interconnected viewpoint then pick things out to argue and hope the rest of it goes away. And if all else fails they signal the colored letters and funny pictures crowd.

Regards

>>Unlike the futurist, we are not given to wildly imagining things that are not taught plainly in the text.<<

It states rather plainly in the text that Satan will be released to again deceive. Yet you said that at the end of the thousand years Jesus comes both to cast Satan into hell and to destroy this earth as we know it.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

You’ll notice that these verses state that all believers will be “cought up with them in the clouds, “in the twinkling of an eye” so obviously we are no longer on earth and we are changed.

Now, I ask you again. If the believers are safe with Jesus and the earth has been destroyed, who can Satan be released to deceive if he is confined to hell and the believers are safe with Jesus?

I’m saying that someone posting a picture of someone or something laughing rather then typing bwahahaha or something similar is not the same as getting personal and juvenile.

That's not even funny it's outright self-delusion. You can follow that exactly and there's not a problem with it other than your own blindfold.

have a nice day
