Well then topcat, Im sure you could tell me who Satan is released to deceive at the end of the thousand years. Right?
Satan will be released to go about deceiving the nations at the end of the thousand years. I would not go very far in trying to speculate what form this deception will take. All we know is what we have in the imagery given to us in Rev. 20, and that is not much. Based on the language of the image, I take it to be a very short period of time. Put together with what we know about Christ coming as a thief in the night, it is possible that the effect will be unperceivable, esp. by the unrighteous. But that is probably all I wish to say on the matter.
Unlike the futurist, we are not given to wildly imagining things that are not taught plainly in the text.
By diverting our attention to Rev. 20, does that mean you agree with my assessment of all the other verses touching Christs return and the state of the Church both now and then?
