I had a friend to whom this happened a number of years ago...on a lark, she went and saw an acupuncturist and in no time was back to eating anything and everything...you may wish to explore this avenue.

Metmom, my family also suffers from difficulties relating to food. My mom just spent four months in the hospital on a pic line, so I have some understanding of how you feel. Some days it is so discouraging, and you wonder if you’ll ever figure out what is really going on.

We are praying for you and just keep holding on, to Him who shared all our pain and sorrows, and loves us with an everlasting love.

As I type this I bring your needs before Him, asking Him to give you wisdom, peace, and healing.

Father, we lift up Metmom and all her family, and ask her to give her abundantly whatever she needs.

A friend of mine just sent me this little CBN about a Christian artist, and it lifted me up. I’ll put it here so if you feel up to watching perhaps it will lift you up too. It’s about a Christian artist (one of my favorites) and how he is taking on a particularly special challenge, the Resurrection.

More prayers for Metmom. Even though you suggested new ideas were not what was needed right now, maybe something might turn up, should she want to scan down the thread.

Sometimes prayers are answered in unusual ways, maybe God will guide someone to post something that might be helpful.

Prayers for answers for metmom! I can only imagine the frustration. And I can imagine all the advice that leads to no where. The Lord’s healing hand may be the only answer. But, I will risk one more suggestion. Mary Ruth Swope a born again believer and physician wrote on the Green Leaves of Barley. In her book she talks about how young Barley leaves are a cleanser and healing herb for many toxifying conditions in the body. Also Barley was an important grain offering of first fruits unto the Lord in the Old Testament.

The Bible declares barley leaves to be God’s champion food creation – the most perfect and complete of all foods. Leviticus 23:9-11 (offerings had to be perfect!)

Please accept this in the spirit in which it is intended as I genuinely feel for your plight having suffered several inexplicable debillitating ailments. You seem to have addressed all physical medical assessments. I strongly encourage you to schedule a consult with a psychiatrist to rule out non-physiologic causes. When my general practisioners couldn't figure out what was causing my problems, they referred me to a psychiatrist, which infuriated me at first, but I went and he ordered lab tests which revealed I had physical problems, i.e. hormonal deficiencies, NOT mental or menopause related, which were wreaking havoc with my life. I have had a lifelong problem with depression, and the blood tests revealed my body does not produce seratonin and I couldn't be happy if I wanted to. He prescribed an antidote, and my life has literally been transformed. You owe it to yourself to find out if someone thinking outside the box might be able to help you identify the cause of your food allergies.

I too have problems with allergies. Mine lead to respiratory problems. The only thing that has ever helped me is a thorough liver/gallbladder detox and flush.

Metmom’s situation seems to involve much more of her system. I will be praying for her complete healing and peace for her and her family while she goes through this.
