Prayer Request for Petruchio (Update at 1262: Petruchio passed away on Friday, Dec 4, 2015)

Time to call out the Big Guns.

Some of you have heard thru FReepmail that a week and a half ago a mass was found during a routine chest X-Ray. 2 days later they did a CT Scan. Yesterday I had a Biopsy done. I just got off the phone with my Doctor.

I have cancer.

Specifically, Adenocarcinoma. More tests need to be done to determine the stage and if it is just the one tumor or if it has spread.

Please include me in your Prayers that this can be treated.The most powerful weapon I can employ in this fight is Prayer.

Update:

I don’t know how many more updates there will be. I have not been online much because my eyesight is failing. It is frustrating trying to read the computer screen. I have macular degeneration and cataracts in both eyes.

I have gone through 7 Chemo regimes and one Radiation series. There is one last Chemo my Dr. is considering trying if I can get strong enough to endure it, but it is a long shot. I checked and was turned down for Clinical Trials at the University of Chicago. They said I was too frail.

The cancer has spread. Last count there are between 50 and 60 tumors that range from 5mm up to tennis ball in size in my body. Most are in the lungs, but it has spread into the abdominal and pelvis areas including the left kidney and liver. I am waiting for the MRI results to see if it has spread into the brain. I suspect it has because 2 weeks ago I started having seizures. Pain is thankfully still minimal.

I am very grateful for all the Prayers over the last few years They gave me the strength to fight this long. Overall I have had a good run. My only regret is I was not able to kick a few specific politicians in the tenders . . .

Last week’s USC decisions were disappointing. It is small consolation but I am glad I will not live to see the final collapse of this once great Nation.

I am so tired . . .
