Actually, Red Dwarf had the cleverest solution to the problem where the "second shooter" turned out to be JFK himself, in one of those space-time thingys. They accidentally went back in time and disrupted JFK's assassination. Of course, bad things resulted including JFK being impeached and imprisoned. So they convinced him to off himself and be considered a hero rather than be a disgrace and repaired the timeline. Pretty clever.

The short answer is that there was no conspiracy, Oswald acted alone. But decide for yourself. For more details, I recommend reading all the posts on this thread as a start, especially the links. Lyndon Johnson did not conspire to have JFK killed. The posts on that thread happen to have alot of good info on the assassination. See post 4271.
