The Neverending Story
An ongoing debate on Scripture, Tradition, History and Interpretation.
Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams |

I think we got the best of that deal. :-)

1. God is absolutely sovereign.
2. People who sin are acting against the will of God.Let me guess - every time someone has posted Romans 9:19 on this thread, you two were out getting coffee?
That might work for Dave, but not for me; I don't accept Romans as canonical.
Can you explain to me how these two statements are not logically inconsistent?

Whose logic are you trying to strain them through?
To: malakhi
Well, don't know how I'm going to do it but I'm getting up at 6 in the morning tomorrow and going riding. Is it still dark at that time? Probably won't be up at 2 tomorrow night so someone else will have to do duty. After church I'll probably just crash.

Ah yes. I understood it when I read it, but by the time I had read Cindy's post, I had forgotten the context of your remark.

Whose logic are you trying to strain them through? There is more than one logic? Interesting.
Now, can you explain how those two statements are not logically inconsistent?
If you can't do it, just say so.

Shh. We don't talk about treats around Becky :')
To: CindyDawg
I use to ride my horse down to a local store for a pop:) It was a family run store, the wife didn't like horse poop in her parking lot tho, so I had to stop. I did ride my horse to church on Sunday nights and Weds. alot when we went to church in Bixby. Mack would pull the trailer when he came and I trailer home.

To: PayNoAttentionManBehindCurtain
That is so cool. That's a long ride though
To: CindyDawg
You better not be giving that horse treats:)
Becky
(Mack is watching some stupid "Mythbuster" show, something about exploding toilets,}
To: CindyDawg
