It has been like a roller coaster since I last asked for prayer. I dont know exactly how they did it but they used her own stem cells that they finally managed to harvest when she was in remission that short amount of time after the transplant. They did the procedure hoping it would help her get healthy so they could do another bone marrow transplant. I don't know and I don't think the doctors do either, if this could be a permanent cure but it is a beginning.
The procedure was done last Friday and she was already feeling better on Saturday and Sunday. One test showed her cancer-free yesterday but they were waiting on the results of another before they could be sure.
The weekend before the transplant they let her come home and she was so depressed and in so much pain. She told my grandson that she was so tired of being sick and we were all afraid that she was giving up. She just wanted to sleep as much as possible and didnt even try to play. My grandchildren laid down with her for a while and came home very sad, I think they were even afraid. And now, except for the stomach problems she has because of all the medicine, she isnt hurting.
I do pray for her and her family almost every day and prayers will continue.
Such great news!
Bless her lil heart for being such a fighter!

Great News from tiki!
Continued prayers for this brave, dear child.
What wonderful news!!
Praise God for the good news about Jacquelyn!
Children are our most prized possessions; a gift of value without measure. Everything else in this world pales into insignificance when compared to this precious gift.
Life in this world can be a series of trials and tests. The manner in which we handle these trials determines our character. Dealing with the suffering of children is the toughest trail we can face in this journey through life.
We are told that in the end our lives are but a twinkling of the eye, yet when faced with trials such as these, for us time seems to pass inexorably slow.
May God continue to shine His grace down upon Jacquelyn, her family and her friends, in Jesus' name.
How awesome! A co-worker of mine went through the same thing with his stem cells for non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He's been doing great and just got married last Sunday!
Prayers of thanksgiving and prayers for continued success!
Thank you, dear Lord, for hearing our prayers and answering according to Your will.
Thanks for posting good news.
Prayers for a little one.
Thank GOD - tell Jacquelyn we are still praying for her!!
Oh God love this angel who is going through more than a child should. I had a sister who died from leukemia many years ago when it was a certain death diagnosis. A reason I donate monthly to St Jude's. Treatment for this disease has come so far since that time and I rejoice at this news of improvement of your dear granddaughter. I was unaware until the Tonk ping today and will add her, her family, and you to our prayers here.
What wonderful news!
Prayers going up for this brave little girl and her family.

I'll keep Jacquelyn in my prayers.
You do know that when she's better we'll expect to have a party...at your place.

God is good.
Matthew 4:23-25
23And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. 24Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. 25Great multitudes followed Him--from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.
