New website for the black Rush Limbaugh running for Congress is up. See www.robinsonforcongress.com

Here's an excerpt from www.robinsonforcongress.com:
The Democrat Party today is comprised of the Old Left, the New Left, and the What's Left, and I'm proud to say my voting record has infuriated them all:
the gun grabbers,
the militant homosexuals,
the environmentalist granolas,
the globalists who worship at the alter of the United Nations,
the pro-abortionist fanatics,
the radical feminists,
the burned-out hippie peaceniks,
the socialists posing as journalists and college professors,
the animal rights extremists,
the union bosses (especially the teachers unions),
the high priests and priestesses of political correctness,
the government bureaucrats,
the tax-and-spend junkies,
the racial agitators,
the Hollywood elitists.

Vernon is great.
To: ConservativeGadfly
Vernon's Ideology and Philosophy in a Nutshell I am pro-Constitution, pro-national sovereignty, pro-military, pro-veteran, pro-growth, pro-business, pro-marriage, pro-adoption, pro-farmer, pro-school choice, pro-states' rights, pro-religious freedom, pro-Pledge of Allegiance, pro-death penalty, pro-gun, and pro-life.
I will secure our borders and demand the vigorous enforcement of our immigration laws. I support market-based reforms of government entitlement programs such as Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
I am unabashedly and unalterably opposed to racial quotas, special rights for homosexuals, the United Nations, the proliferation of frivolous lawsuits, women in combat, pork barrel spending, useless government programs and agencies, onerous regulations, and all tax hikes.
We agree on everything! If I was in NC he'd have my vote.
To: Why_do_I_need_a_screen_name?
He looks great (just checked out that site). I just don't know about that description.
I'm in NC, but not in his district. I hope he wins. I like his position on taxes.

Likewise, I finally pulled up his site and he's great. Too bad I don't live there (or that he doesn't live in my state) but I'm e-mailing his info to all my buddies.

Wow. Awesome website. It seems there are lots of conservatives running for this open seat, but none quite as passionate, well-rounded, and having a unique background as this guy. He'd definitely get my vote in the primary if I lived there.
Check out the website of the lone 'RAT party candidate so far. ( http://www.david.crawford.org/ ) Another southern 'RAT tries to put nice VAGUE conservative-sounding rhetoric on the website ($50 says he would vote with the Hillary wing of the party if anyone was actually dumb enough to elect him)

He sounds like my kind of guy. I read a few months ago, I think in the WSJ, that the Republicans are trying to get conservative young black staffers to work in their respective GOP congressman's offices in Wash. DC. The idea is to bring 'em up through the ranks and eventually have them run for office. If they get can people like this guy, it's an affirmative action program I like. I hope however, that we don't end up with our own GOP version of Jayson Blair, however

Well whadaya know! Looks like more than a mere few of our black folks are making some grand announcements which might pick-up a whole lot of followers and supporters! I have prayed, and I continue to pray for their successes!

Great Find!
Welcome Dear Fellow American:
Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton want you to click away from this website! If you share my opinion of those two race-hustling poverty pimps, that fact alone should motivate you to view every page and read every word.
I'm the black conservative United Press International recently called "the early favorite" to win the open seat in the 5th Congressional District of North Carolina. As the liberal media so often remind us, there has been no black Republican in Congress since J.C. Watts retired.
The Wall Street Journal called me "the next black GOP Congressman" and predicted that my election in 2004 will help repair the damage done to the Republican Party by the Trent Lott controversy.
I want to make that prediction a reality. But I need your help to make it happen!
The local media share the national media's analysis of my candidacy. From the Davie County Enterprise-Record (May 9, 2003):
"[Robinson] is a pugnacious city alderman with a national following . . . He's like a Rush Limbaugh candidate - a conservative's conservative who has been one of the principal spokesmen for the movement . . . he quashed an attempt to take United Way funds away from Boy Scouts because of the homosexuality issue. . . . He's a firebrand Winston-Salem alderman. He is a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate. Smart. Outspoken. Able to raise money for a campaign. . . Robinson offers the district a high profile, outspoken conservative who can command a national stage . . . [and whose voice] will be heard."
If elected, I'll be the first black Republican Congressman elected from a confederate state since Reconstruction. More importantly, the liberals will have to contend with an articulate black Congressman who marches to the beat of a conservative drum!
Every day you brush the teeth of the very person who will determine what kind of Republican Party and what kind of America we will leave to our grandchildren. I encourage you to follow Ronald Reagan's example and stand up for what you believe.
I have the courage and the commitment that it will take to win this race for Congress. The only necessary ingredient I'm missing is money.
Having spent my whole adult life in public service, I am not wealthy. I have to rely on the generosity of like-minded conservatives all across the country.
More than 3,000 Americans from all 50 states have already made contributions ranging from $1 to $2,000. In fact, I have already raised more than $150,000. That's a great start, but I must raise another $100,000 in the next two months in order to keep my frontrunner status.
Because of the significance of my candidacy, national GOP leaders are already calling my race the single most important congressional election next year. I know President George W. Bush and Majority Leader Tom DeLay can sure use my help.
Please take a few minutes to look around this site. I hope you will consider joining my campaign by doing three things:
make a contribution,
sign up for my newsletter, and
refer this site to your friends.
Thank you and may God bless you.
With warm best wishes,
Vernon Robinson
Wish I could vote for him!!!

Welcome aboard! Terrific post.
All I can say is I wish to heck we had someone like him (and I'm not talking about his color, but rather his character) in my CD. Black, white or whatever--doesn't matter: as long as core values are like this guy's.
