"It's a lie! American propaganda! I am not, er, I mean Mohammad Said al-Sahaf is not surrendering to the Americans!"

Does he have any idea what awaits him.?
You bet your ass he does.
Probably already has an agent.
His first gig should be on Arliss!!

"According to Nabil al Musawi, the deal will be completed soon. " "Net? Five points net?
You tell CNN it's gross, and now is ten points!"

I have to wonder if he knows that the majority of conservative and possibly liberal Americans are hoping he is alive and well.
As a result of this conflict, other than Donald Rumsfeld, and Saddam, who is more "marketable?"

Give this guy his own news show for an hour every night. It would be a hoot and would be a real ratings boost for whatever network gets him.
To: buickmackane
Wonderful News!
If he is NOT guilty of crimes, or gross corruption --- he stands to have a very rewarding career on the "talk circuit"....
He could easily replace ANY of the network talking heads and RAISE their ratings....

I wonder if he will go on TV and insist that there are no Americans in Baghdad?

I'd give anything to see this guy host SNL! If he would come out and just say, "Good evening, I am Baghdad Bob and I'm your host tonight, God willing," they'd tear the seats out of the place and blow out the microphones in a deafening bedlam.

While Baghdad Bob has been out of sight, we had another clown to laugh at, Baghdad Ali.
He's the enterprising poseur who proclaimed himself Mayor of Baghdad from a car top. He then proceeded to open offices in abandoned buildings and started taking applications for patronage jobs. He's now in the pokey for "taking unauthorized power".
While Baghdad Ali can't hold a candle to Baghdad Bob for style and chutzpah, he's at least on a par with Mayor Daley of Baghdad by the Lake.

The other night Tom Brokaw was doing a special while flying on Air Force One.
He asked President Bush what he thought of Baghdad Bob? President Bush let out a big laugh and said "He is a real character".
