The War in Iraq is Wrong
Posted on 04/09/2003 9:46:29 AM PDT by Jonathan AG
Ban me, but have the courage to accept the truth.
This War is wrong. Many innocent Iraqis have died. Many Americans have died.
Iraq is in chaos. No food. No water. No power.
I don't care if staged events involving a few criminals and looters make the people appear to be happy. Ask the ones who had their lives destroyed by American bombs.
There are no WMDs. America will remain in Iraq long enough to:
A) plunder its resouces
B) ensure a Bush election victory in spite of massive deficits and a terrible economy.
THIS WAR IS WRONG.

As I said earlier in this thread (in a direct response to his post), his words may have carried more weight if he wasn't a returning newbie poster.
He's banned. He didn't take to entering a discussion and stating his position. He launched a vanity thread on a breaking news day, just soiled his diapers, and left.
He had opportunity to respond to posters on this thread. He chose not too. He was just trying to disrupt things here. He's not having a good day.
He was sadded to see children released from jail and citizens celebrating the overthrow of a brutal dictator.

Opec is mad!
France has been dealt an economic recession by losing their Iraqi Oil deals and market for their war toys.
No more Iraqi Oil for France to use to harm innocent Iraqis.
Opec is now an endangered species with no friends except the left wingers of America and the world.

And we should believe all this because? Jonathan, my dear boy, please keep in mind that admiring Stalin or Saddam is not the same as actually being those people. In their respective heydays, they could easily induce agreement merely by making an authoritarian pronuncement, you cannot.

Yes, war kills people, sometimes innocents. Left in power, Saddam would have killed many, many more than this war has killed. Saddam killed and tortured innocent people daily. Saddam's regime JAILED CHILDREN!!! Do you understand that? They jailed children. Wake up you insipid fool.
You have it exactly correct.

You are trying to reason with the unreasonable.
I would like to express my true self here.
Unfortunately, I am compelled to contain myself.
Trust me, if I were unleashed, I could tear this ahole a new one.
