After Rally Report from Raleigh NC

We had a GREAT turnout for our Rally for America in Raleigh today. Crowd estimates are between 500-750 people. The weather was great, the speakers and singers were awesome and awe inspiring.

I am SO PROUD to be an American and part of Free Republic. I can't begin to tell you the dozens of people that came up to us today to thank us for sponsoring this rally.

I'll let all that attended post their reports here and I'll have the pictures up soon.

Actually kcar the link system is the best way to do it, that way it doesn't slow down the thread loading for those that have dial up.

I'm probably going to do this for the pictures I have as well. Now I just have to figure out how. I will put a few directly on the thread though.

I am thoroughly disgusted with the lack of news coverage!

And will the people who wanted help from me about how to post pictures on your Road Runner web page please ping me! I'll do it this afternoon.

Suprise! Suprise! No mention of us in the Chapel Hill paper. They're saying around 125 attended the Chapel Hill rally yesterday and had 7 paragraphs of interviews from them.

Of course the peaceniks (from protests Wednesday and Friday) got the bigger pictures but the reporter was emphasizing how small the crowds(250 and 100) were.

We must remember - the News and Disturber works ONLY FOR THE DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST MARXIST PARTY. Anything that hurts President Bush - including anything that HARMS OUR SOLDIERS - is what they want. They do not CARE about the morale of our troops - except to see that it is decreased...so that Saddam and all his socialist, totalitarian friends around the world can triumph over freedom. #58 - agreed. Weather is worth watching - and Tom Suiter with sports - but NOTHING else. (Understand why you watch). Pam Saulsby's and David Crabtree's reporting is so obviousl biased - it is beyond the pale.

I am still trying to figure out who the curly haired reporter was at the rally. I have seen him at other of our rallies in the past. If not mistaken, he is an N&O liberal who made it plain not to report the truth. The woman who was writing and photographing - I don't know who she works with but obviously either her report was yanked by her editors (if she was N&O) or she didn't see fit to report about the Iraqi pro freedom exile - (woman) - who was so wonderful......
