"War is always an acknowledgement of failure"

Tell that to the thousands of American soldiers buried on your soil who freed your a$$e$ from the Nazi. You'd be speakin' German today, baby, if we didn't come to save your faggot butts.

I swear the French guy sounds like a school teacher making a plan for a failing student...they are proposing progress reports every 3 weeks.

France: Making 3 proposals today:

1. Blix set a hierarchy of tasks

2. Report to UNSC every 3 weeks

3. Schedule for assessing progress -- 180 days or possibly shorter.

(In other words, wants to drag it out through the summer. )

France will not approve a resolution authorizing use of force.

What's the name of the book? I can thoroughly recommend Kristol and Kaplan's new book on Iraq.

Thanks much for story. Sure hope you're right. This is potentially great news. The timing, eve of war with Iraq, couldn't be better for morale :).

I am with you -- you never hear about the Iraqi people and how they have been tortued by the regime of Saddam!

Guess these appeasers don't want to acknowledge that the same way they didn't want to acknowledge Hitler.

"War is always an acknowledgement of failure" - Dominique de Villepin

With regard to the history of France, no statement could be more true.

The drunk party is back at it again. Yet Ivanov said that whatever Sadmn showed was due to the troops build up. Duplicity at work here. They know full well that the US army cannot be pushed around as a scarecrow for Sadam. Damn drunks.

Monsour on Fox said earlier that it's got to be somebody high up in Al Queda because 7 people wouldn't have given up their lives in such a violent gunbattle unless they were protecting somebody important.

It shows how far out of touch they really are. Ignorance is the driving factor in the "Inspections Work!" crowd.

Interesting, I heard nothing to that affect. However, I did have to listen to ARD (the German public channel) bash us for a good hour.

"War is always an acknowledgement of failure"

This is a stupid statement. The choice is to not go to war and pretend nothing is happening and call that success? He is a fop.

The Frog says they will not allow the resolution to pass...

Now the Frog is playing a very tiny fiddle

"The use of force can cause resentment and blah blah blah..."

"How many victims will it cause?..." No mention of how many victims there have been while we went through twelve years of inspections....

What a bunch of neutered tadpoles. They are worried about reordering the middle east but don't see a thing wrong about reordering Europe- except if it gets reordered further east.

Casper Weinberger was on Fox and Friends this morning and he said the last time that France was on the right side of the war and helped was in 1777!
