Shiver along with the D.C. Chapter, FReepers from across the country, other patriotic Americans and Iraqi exiles as C-SPAN broadcasts the Patriots Rally For America IV today at 1:05 p.m.
Recorded yesterday at the cold, fog-shrouded, snow-covered grounds of the Washington Monument, the rally held to support our troops, President Bush and the American policy on Iraq features former Rep. Bob Dornan, Aziz Al-Taee, Blanquita Cullum, John Armor, James Parmelee, Kevin Martin, Adam Ramey and yours truly.
Also featured are singers Cullen Martin, Stephanie Souders and, from Nashville, Lowell Shyette.
The program, if shown in it's entirety, should run three hours and fifteen minutes.
Get some hot chocolate ready, pop some popcorn, put on your red, white and blue sweaters and get ready to root for the home team: the men and women serving in our Armed Forces.
EAGLES UP !!!

To: All
To everyone who had positive comments, and compliments, and attaboys for the DC Chapter...
Thank you! To everyone who tells us to: keep the faith, don't lose heart, etc. ... Thank you!
To the (very few) nattering nay-bobs of negativism... I knew you'd be here today. Ants always show up at picnics, too.
To all my fellow DC Chapter members, and those FReepers who are honorary DC Chapter members (highroadtoChina, badray, rface, republic, chicagolady, A greatPer, ???...)... THANK YOU for traveling, at your own great expense, to stand up for our troops yesterday. I know they appreciate seeing something positive on the TV. You all are great!
To all the DC Chapter members who worked hard, behind the scenes, and on the front lines... you guys are the best!
To all the FReepers who haven't been able to come to DC, but have organized rallies (big and small ) in their hometowns... I salute you, too! You haven't just sat back and wrung your hands; you have taken it to the streets, and shown your support for the US military and our efforts to free the Iraqi people and the world from the threat of WMD attacks by Saddam and friends.
To all FReepers who haven't done anything yet, because they don't see how it could help... go check for posts by trteamer. He does one-man support FReeps in Wyoming, not to mention the group FReeps he's involved in in Colorado. Ask him if he has any effect on the public by his FReeps.
Now I've got lots of photos to make links for...

People shouldn't initiate assaults on their natural allies
What a curious idea. I think you should reflect upon your posts with that idea in mind.
To: sauropod
I should have thanked you for your fine efforts and all FReepers who attended the planning session & did as much as they could to help the rally.
Those who helped with the rally are too numerous to name, but you know who you are. And all who helped should take a bow.
Those who who want to make constructive criticism and helpful suggestions should be welcomed.
Those who simply disparage the considerable efforts of some truly fine people and great patriots should be asked what efforts they have made.
(Salute also to you and Doctor Raoul for FReeping the phony weapons inspectors last weekend at Aberdeen.)

I'm sorry, in one of my previous posts I forgot to turn off my italics, and so it looked like I was quoting you when in fairness only I should be tagged with this delightful run-on sentence I posted for your edification:
"The suggestion that you may not be correct in your declaration that you will someday be a federal judge and we will all be grateful to you is not an insult. It's part of the painful transitioning process to adulthood that accompanies the closure of extended adolescence that is the law school experience. Time will teach."

Not to rain on your parade -- but, the anti-war protests don't give free bus rides, free lunches or free t-shirts. If you want to go on a bus, you have to pay for a ticket. If you want a t-shirt, you have to buy it. I don't know anything about bag lunches. I work downtown LA and the protests go by my office, and I've gone down to look around. They have booths selling t-shirts, buttons, etc., and sign up sheets for buses to the next rally, with a listing of the prices. I'm not sure where the scummy unemployed liberals get the money to buy this stuff, but somehow they manage.

Oh. I see. People who attck their own really get my goat. Sorry if I was out of line. I'll tone it down.
Let the DemonRats on DU self-destruct; I won't deride anyone else here. Hopefully, I will be shown the same courtesy.

LOL, perish the thought. That's just so nice to know that you don't do that. :) Me, I don't ever click on abuse: I just repeat the insult against me in the hopes that the writer will be embarassed by their misconduct.

I met people at the rally who came out because of Sean Hannity. Got their email addresses. I had admitted upthread somewhere that I DO remember hearing Sean Hannity plug the Patriots Rally for American several times on his radio show this week. In fact, I believe he mentioned in on Tuesday, when "our" Finest thread was run. I was the one who pinged you to that information, I believe!
I guess I've been having what you call "a blonde moment" all week long... I completely forgot about Sean's announcements! :-(
Glenn Beck is doing "Rally for America." You should go to that website and post your Manchester rally data their, Nutmeg! They have a way you can add protests to their nationwide forum. It's a good coalition. It taps you into a network of conservative talk radio.
We DID post there.
Thanks for that info... I will check it out. I had never heard of Glenn Beck until today. FReeper Dianna clued me in to who he is. Glad to hear there are now SO MANY conservative talk radio hosts out there that I can't keep track of them! :-)

Nutmeg, you *must* check that out. Ping me if you have difficulty figuring it out, because it could really enhance your turnout for the upcoming Connecticut rally.

We just don't have that local conservative talk radio hero that we need. We have to think of another way to work with these radio stations. Joint sponsorhip or something where they incessantly plug? You may want to look into the Tom Marr show of WCBM in Baltimore. The station owner and most of what the station airs is conservative and pro-American. The station not long ago went to 50,000 watts, and is heard in D.C. now and 90% of Maryland and parts of surrounding states.
