How do we start a Pro-American rally here in Georgia? (Vanity)

I'm getting ready to go to work, at the local Movie Gallery, and I was hoping that you all could help out with some information on getting a Pro-American, Support our Troops rally going here in the Savannah area. The local college kids had an anti-war protest here last week and it was the occasion for all the weirdos to come out of the wood work. Not surprising though! I hope you all can help with some info. 1. Decide on a location - check to see if permits are needed, etc. Follow through.

2. Post here on FR and ping Georgia FReepers.

3. Develop press advisory, to be faxed to local media outlets 1 - 2 days before your scheduled event.

4. Go here: Flyers for Freedom-countering the Leftist's Leaflets and download the flyers. Take them to your local copy center and have copies made to pass out at your rally.

THE DAY OF THE RALLY

1. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather.

2. Bring along a bullhorn, pre-made signs & flyers.

3. Be nice, yet forceful enough to get the message across

4. Follow local law - don't do anything illegal

5. Have fun, and report back here after the event.

Tonight at work, turn all the movies backwards that star Susan Saran-Wrap, Sean Pencil-Head, Alec Boredom, and all the rest of these idiots. Don't recommend any movie with these traitors, instead offer them something with Mel or James Woods. Then let me know when the rally is because I'll be there!!!!

It's sort of like a good pig roast.

Get a keg of beer
Invite your friends
Have them invite their friends
Then find some leftist punk to take the place of the pig
Put an apple in his mouth.
Fire up the bar-b-que.
About 350 for 45 minutes should do the trick
Baste regularly
Take Polaroids of him
Pass the pictures out at the next "Peace Rally"

It's rather hard-core but it does tend to get their attention...........

Actually I couldn't do all the organizing alone.

Melbourne Florida Rally is this Saturday.

Thanks to Clear Channel Communications AM station( RUSH ) and show hosts who accepted the idea.

Try finding them in your area. I understand the Miami station is now going to do one too. They will be able to contact their own broadcasters.

You can just notify Freepers and go along for the ride!

They have the free publicity that I could not do alone.
I have now had my Republican Womens Club( over 300 members)
and the entire County Committee email list notified.

Just find a Sponsor! If they know you will help get people out...they may organize it on their property too!

Glenn Beck is leading much of the rally drive. I think he is on WGST in Atlanta. Contact them and see if you can get something started. Good luck!

I have put together a rally in Milledgeville, GA! I just did it today and have yet to post on the state page.It will be on March 8, from 11:30 to 2 at the Baldwin County Courthouse. I have but one speaker lined up, Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills, but I have invited Senators Saxby Chambliss and Zell Miller, and Reps. Charlie Norwood and Jim Marshall. I have also invited local elected officials, many of whom are very interested. The Republican Party of both Baldwin and Putnam County will be present, I have some cadets from Georgia Military College who will present the Colors and lead the Pledge, the local Woodsman of the World Insurance Company is donating 100+ flags for the crows, I am working on a singer, and maybe even the Air Force Reserve Band from Robins. If you want, we can make this bigger, but I need to know ASAP, because I will have to get the police to block off a road that day. Freep mail me!
