1. Decide on a location - check to see if permits are needed, etc. Follow through.

2. Post here on FR and ping Georgia FReepers.

3. Develop press advisory, to be faxed to local media outlets 1 - 2 days before your scheduled event.

4. Go here: Flyers for Freedom-countering the Leftist's Leaflets and download the flyers. Take them to your local copy center and have copies made to pass out at your rally.

THE DAY OF THE RALLY

1. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather.

2. Bring along a bullhorn, pre-made signs & flyers.

3. Be nice, yet forceful enough to get the message across

4. Follow local law - don't do anything illegal

5. Have fun, and report back here after the event.

As always... GREAT "HOW TO" stuff. I agree we need a central clearinghouse. We've set up one on the unofficial Glenn Beck message board and it's working. The Free Republic Moderators could do the same. Trying to pick out key info from dozens of threads is getting real old. Still, you folks are doing great at helping boil the blood.
