I'm about half-way thru a book on Lynyrd Skynyrd that ain't the least bit political, but I enjoy Ronnie Van Zandt's efforts soooo much more just learning more about the artist. I always liked Ted's music when I was younger, but I had no idea he was in the Damn Yankees 'til recently.
