CBS Radio says France wants "proof" of what Powell said.I'm not surprised - I knew this was coming. I'm sure more nations that need "proof" will follow..
Can someone post that picture of the French cheese-eating surrender monkey that I saw somewhere on FR? Can't remember exactly where I saw it.
Cameroon now calling for more time for inspectors... "War is not inevitable. We call upon the Iraqi authorities to consider the present situation... please cooperate... do it for the Iraqi people." *BARF* Keep wishing, Cameroon!

Yes, WHERE IS RUSH? First, I hope he is not having health complications.
That out of the way---who does he think he is taking time off at a time such as this? (Grins, Rush.) \
As much as Rush bugs me sometimes, like other trusted friends, when the going gets rough, you want to hang out together, even if there are other times you want a break from each other.

Cameroon is talking but not saying much, Sounds like they are on the side of Iraq to me tho?

"we nuke his ass. Now that "world opinion" is hostile anyway, there's nothing to lose by doing so."
Are you crazy? Here we are going to war to stop the spread of nuclear weapons and you advocate using them in such cavalier manner! What about all the innocent life that will be lost? Do you really think the rest of the world, not to mention terrorists, will not reaact to our use of nuclear weapons?
We used them with Japan and displayed the horror of such weapons. The world has only survived by mutually containing the use of nuclear weapons.
You are obviously not a Christian!

I know, but since when did not having a case stop the media from trying to conjure up one??! Don't really think they will, but the Brian Williams stupid question of the day got me thinking how really, really bad he and his kind can be...

I was thinking of buying one of those little battery-op tvs, just so I can catch the action whenever possible. They only get network news, though.
But, while riding the train or whatever, that would be better than nothing. (BIG MAYBE)
To: Japedo
Cameroon will likely hedge. They have ties to both the Allies and France.

I only wish there was something worth buying from France that we could all boycott. Lancome, L'Oreal, Yves Rocher, cosmetics are a few that come to mind... French wines and cheeses... Renault cars...

Last week word was that Dubya assured Pooty-Poot that Russia would be fully compensated (probably in oil) for the $8 billion owed to them by Iraq, and therefore wouldn't be giving us any more hassles about going to war. It now appears that was a bunch of BS.With the Russkies, what they say and what they do are two different things. They will harangue the US for domestic consumption, while behind the scenes cooperating with us. I suspect that once again this may be the case. I think Putin is with us, but he can't bring himself to say it, for fear of alienating the old cold war warriors in the Kremlin.
