Great work there. Thanks a bunch. I was able to listen on my radio at work, to Powell, but that was all. I was wondering what the Jennings ad nauseum would do.
Interestingly, when I turned my little radio on, all of my co-workers came in and sat down to listen. They listened carefully to over half of it, not saying a word. Then beepers went off and phones rang and interrupted. This group usually doesn't have time to be bothered by what is called by some here (but not all) 'my right-wing politics'. They mostly like Bush, but they don't pay much attention to the details of any news, except maybe football.

Wasn't that a French Mirage in that video? :-)

Hopefully C-SPAN will see fit to interrupt their regularly scheduled programming to replay the Powell speech a few times.
I guess this is what tivo is for, too. Don't have tivo yet. May be helpful to keeping up with the war when it starts, though. Lord knows one really needs to see these types of presentations in their entirety or too many media-generated errors can slip in.

CBS Radio says France wants "proof" of what Powell said. What are they waiting for? An Iraqi weapon of mass destruction shoved up their rearend?
To: Mo1

The French believe us, they just don't know what to do with the Muslim extremists in their country. So, they attack the US because the US won't attack back, whereas any of those Islamic extremist groups just might. It's safer for them to say no to America than no to their "uncontrollable" immigrants.

OMG! Remember when he emptied the prisons a few months ago? Where did all those people go?
To: beachn4fun
did the US really say that to them? No, it's what I'd like Powell or Bush to say!

The left only accepts the idea of guilt if someone actually admits to doing something. Bill Clinton denied having sex, so he wasn't guilty of it. Sadaam denies ties to Al Qaeda or to terrorist attacks on the U.S. So to the left he isn't guilty because he didn't admit it.
However, this principle only applies to other leftists or anti-Americans world-wide. Conservatives and supporters of the U.S. around the world are guilty simply for continuing to breathe.

Chinese statement seems to have been written prior to hearing the evidence. Chinese AND Russian statements seem to have been written before hearing the evidence (which I'm sure they don't feel IS evidence). I assume they slept thru Powell's presentation.
