An Example (Religion of Peace)

Jerry Falwell recently popped off about Islam. His comments about Mohammed were not complimentary. His point apparently was that the connection between Islam and terrorism was not mere coincidence.

The statements provoked outrage - and at least one riot. In India, Muslims upset by Falwell's verbiage took to the streets. Nine died in the melee. Iran responded on cue. Leaders there issued a fatwa calling for Falwell's death. A religious adviser to Ayatollah Khamenei said, "The death of [Falwell] is a religious duty."

What an odd way of objecting to the assertion that Islam is violent: to go out and kill.

A radical muslim would not see that as a logical paradox at all. But what could it be that causes these people to be so abjectly stupid? Inbreeding?

Whatever it is has been going on for a long time.

Here's the equation: It's an insult to equate Islam with violence and terror. Individuals who make such comparisons deserve to die.

Kinda like the Muslim reasoning about those so-called "honor" killings. The daughter's having had sex is a worse crime than the father's murder of her.

Who is Steve Emerson?

I'm watching Brudda Farrakan spewing his traitorous, vehement, anti-Semetic and soul-damning bile on my local public access station (from March).
"(Allah says)I will kill every last one of you and bring a new people in your place!"
"On a beam of light I was taken up into this wheel"
He goes on as presenting himself as the holy prophet of Muhammed on earth. He says the UFO following him around grants him higher authority than the President. Last abduction had Elijah Muhammed telling Louie to thwart Reagan's plans for Afghanistan circa 1980.
"Little Bush plans to use the blood of the brown, the black and the weak (to make his war)"
"(I love this country but)God is about to wipe America from the face of the earth!"
Many mannerisms purposely acted to resemble elderly black women in throes of religious feeling.
Finally, of course, our primary concern should be for all the innocent Iraquis who would perish should we move.
The people in the audience are believing a tortured analogy about a dragon.
"I'm calling for a showdown with the source of discord and all his false prophets!"
Speaks of Mugabe in Zimbabwae in reverent holy tones before listing Khadaffi, Hussein and others as unfairly persecuted by America.
Can't take anymore, now invoking MLK, eggnog curdling...

It struck me the other day that in every case of which I can think, whenever Islam comes in contact with another religion, there is violence.

No one who should be allowed out without a keeper, can argue that the correct conclusion is that the origin of said violence lies not with Islam but with **ALL** of the other religions.
