Since the Canteen is a "Home Away From Home" for our military lurkers
I think it's time we start creating a Holiday atmosphere.

Ahoy, yourselves - from chilly SW Florida where the birds are flying even further south tonight for our coldest night of the year...into the FOURTIES for us and freeze warnings out for the citrus groves and farmers inland and north of Tampa! Brrr!
These hot drinks are courtesy of Trader Vics. Should I whip up a thermos or two for the sleigh ride? Do the horses have sleighbells? Can we keep 'em all winter long? This is so exciting, lol!

I never have a good joke to tell, but I thought this was funny. I had to edit a word. LOL
REMEMBER THIS AT CHRISTMAS TIME According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December. Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring. Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santas reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.
We shouldve known. ONLY women would be able to drag a fat-butt man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

A couple thermoses should be fine. Well, maybe more than a couple. We want you guys to stay warm. LOL! Meekie has hot chocolate for me, and I'll check with radu what she would prefer. The horses should already have bells on their harnesses, but I found some just in case.
Transportation is usually only good for the day, but if we whine ask Tonkin VERY NICELY, he is usually able to book the same transportation again.

Radix, happy day after Thanksgiving. You are quick today. Thanks for the pepsi. Do they make cherry diet pepsi? I'll have to look.

A Native American - a Texan & a Arab Muslim At a small airport terminal in Texas, three strangers awaiting their shuttle flight start conversing about the recent worldly events. The strangers were of varying cultures.
One was Native American.
Another was a cowboy from West Texas.
The other person was a devout Arab Muslim.
During their conversation, they began to discuss their cultural history. The Native American stated "once my people were many, now we are few."
The Muslim then chimed in and arrogantly said, "once my people were few and now we are many.
The cowboy looked at the Muslim, shifted the toothpick in his mouth and said with a sly grin, "that's cause we ain't played Cowboys and Muslims yet."
