As you may have noticed, I pinged Mtngrl over. She is most likely at work right now, but I am sure she will check in later.

I saw your picture on the thread! You are the real lady in red aren't you? I taped the CSPAN broadcast, so I will have to go watch it again and see if I can find you! So glad you got to attend this event, but how in the world did you put up with all of this anarchists all in one place? :-) Just seeing the photos of their signs alone made my blood run cold! These people are so frightening, and vulgar to boot!

"I read his report on the rally, and it seems to me there are some very real indications that he is making some threats."

Um, that would involve taking him *seriously.* He's a clown. We once did a thread almost taunting him, where we discussed (too vaguely) our biographies in humorous fashion since he wanted more biographical information. It was a lot of fun.

Mr. Jenkins is just this guy whose parents, in his youth, obviously didn't pay enough attention to. So now he's not as useful a citizen as he might otherwise be.

I think "fixation" is a good word for Daryl Jenkins' issues. He notes in his article "also finally was able to rap with stand waitie." He's like this weird groupie!

You can see that he just can't *bear* that the Karbalaa Islamic Center and we joined hands on this one. He insists in the article that the Iraqi dissendents were not welcome by us -- but of course videotape doesn't like and the C-SPAN tape tells a different story. He tells the Iman, in his article, that he will regret protesting with us, that we'll let him down. Seems like he has a bad case of jealousy.

He should consult with the other lefties before writing his article though: because he treats the Iman and his fellow Iraqis as if they actually exist and support President Bush's position on Iraq. The party line for the left, per the DU, is that these were all paid actors and that the fact that the anti-war rally supposedly held to "help" the Iraqis didn't actually HAVE any is, well, a statistical anomoly. His concession of the authenticity/non-actor status of these Iraqi dissidents may get him into trouble with the left. I do hope he's not hurt by the violent left!

These photos are great! I particularly like this one and especially this one. The idea that these heartfelt signs by Iraqi dissidents are paid actors is an outrageous calumny of the left. They can't possibly believe it and yet they have no compunction about insulting the memory of the loved ones killed by Saddam. Thanks for posting.

daryl is making me into a "celebrity" to the hateful,hatefilled,arrogant,America-hating/blaming,ignorant left!

LUCKY ME! (sarcasm on!)

BTW, he did NOT like me pointing out the swastikas & other anti-semitic signs.

daryl also doesn't like me pointing out the scum in his crowd who were LOUDLY chanting;

KILL THE JEWS! KILL THE JEWS!

i would guess that even people of his ilk are made UN-COMFORTABLE by the RACISTS/ANTI-SEMITES that seem to be attracted to the "hate America movement"!

frankly the RACISTS/ANTI-SEMITES are WELCOMED to the anti-war movement for some reason or other;i can't imagine that the demonstrators DO like/welcome the creeps, but they certainly seem to embrace the scum.

Good point. But Daryl Jenkins seems particularly very very bothered by the fact that we welcomed the Iraqi dissidents. His approach seems to be (1) it didn't really happen, we weren't welcoming to them, in fact contrary to everything on the videotape we don't like them and (2) he hopes in the future the Iraqi dissidents will come to their senses and agree with him that the *last* thing anyone would want to do is take away Saddam's toys.

I say again what good people those Iraqis were. They spoke from the heart and their families have suffered at the hands of Saddam. God Bless them or, as they would have it, may their Allah bless their cause.

I hope Mr. Jenkins spends *a lot* of time trying to research why he just *knows* that because you're on the right you have to be racist, Stand watie: you'd think for all the times he's accused you of this or that, he'd have evidence.

Why doesn't his piece discuss the anti-semitism of many of the anti-war protestors? There were plainly signs that went beyond just being for PLO rights: signs about "Jewish greed" and other plainly ugly anti-semitism. He can point to know specific evidence of racism at our diverse rally, and we can point to much at theirs. The power of denial . . .

daryl is BUSY trying to deny that the anti-semites were "WITH THEM"-his site "wants proof". FUNNY THING though, when i pointed out a LARGE yellow sign with at least a 2-foot tall black swastika on it, that he couldn't see it and suddenly "had to go"!

i was VERY IMPRESSED with the Iman and MANY men of his flock from MI (coming from a diehard rebel, that's saying something!).

ALSO,too bad the women on "the other side" could not be as friendly, ladylike and polite as the Iraqi young ladies from the mosque. FUNNY THING, not a single one of the Iraqi women made OBSCENE GESTURES, cursed or made anti-Christian/anti-semetic comments.

SADLY this was VERY different from the deportment of many of the US "women of the peace movement", who seem to know no words longer than 4 letters, except mother------!

Great pictures!

Special kudos to you, kristinn and all the other DC Chapter members who made "The Patriots Rally for America II" such a great event!!

P.S. I watched part of yesterday's c-span recablecast of your rally. You all did an excellent job, especially in how you handled the disruptive leftist provocateurs.

Hmmmm...

Glad to see that you and "brother" Daryl got some good upclose and sociable "face" time with each other last Saturday. ;-)

Based on his website's posting of your encounter, it really does appear that your discussion was conducted in a gentlemanly fashion (at least by you, that is).

P.S. I wonder if he still has us all (including me) on his "Freak Republic" enemies list.

Just for kicks and a good laugh, check out Daryl's "report" of the Patriots Rally at this link.

FREAK REPUBLIC'S SAD PRO-WAR ROUTINE

P.S. He really lays into kristinn this time, thereby, helping to provide even more positive proof that the Patriot's Rally II was a GREAT SUCCESS! :-)

Daryl Jenkins also seems to be of the opinion that Free Republic does not allow exchange of ideas & opinions. I have seen plenty of dissent on this site and as long as the posting rules are not broken...they are allowed to argue their side. The only posters I have seen banned are those whose posts are hostile or racial.

I wonder what screen name Daryl Jenkins used & what he has posted. Anyone know?
