Overnite, two men arrested while sleeping in their car at a reststop in MD. John Mohammed aka John Williams and his stepson Lee Malvo. Mohammad is thought to be the likely shooter.

Then I saw the picture and went "what?"

Look, bad is bad, evil is evil. While his race does not lead a thinking person to say, "we have to keep an eye on the blacks," it does bring up the question of his associations and affiliations. What groups did he belong to. Who was helping him. Did anyone know what he was doing and sat back and let him?

His Muslim affiliation only helps point us in the direction of where to look, not that all black Muslims are rifle toting psychos...

Note that newspaper headlines are reading "Ex-sodier Arrested in Sniping" rather than "Muslim Arrested in Sniping". Watch the national media de-emphasize the Muslim angle and emphasize the ex-military angle.

Look at Belefonte's comments regarding Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice. The backs killed may have appeared to not be black enough! This seems to cause much angst.
