Overnite, two men arrested while sleeping in their car at a reststop in MD. John Mohammed aka John Williams and his stepson Lee Malvo. Mohammad is thought to be the likely shooter.

Black Muslims - as a "religion"- were not accepted by regular garden-variety Muslims because they believed that their founder, Elijah Muhammed, was a prophet. However, this little difficulty was apparently resolved a while back (I think Farrakhan was involved in that, but I wouldn't swear to it). So now Black Muslims are free to be just regular American-hating Muslims.

In any case, I hope you're wrong, too. But I doubt it.

It's possible the tarot card with that same print turned up more recently.

In either case, the kid - who's being ID's as "Jamaican" - may have been fingerprinted in connection with an immigrant visa.

Yes we have -- further back up on this thread. Both look completely like ordinary "african-Americans" (or "afro-Jamaicans") or whatever -- not an olive pit in sight. (doesn't mean no AQ or Moslem connection -- it just means you would never pick them out based on most of what we saw in the press).

By the way, Fox said that Mohammed's conversion to Islam was after his first divorce and occurred some years ago, not right after 9/11. Somewhere up above somebody had that information confused.

NBC news saying they are being charged on 6 counts of murders. What about the other 4?

Often in cases of multiple murder, charges will initially be brought for only some of the cases. A conviction and death sentence means you're dead, and being convicted of more murders doesn't make you any more dead. But if there's some goof-up at the trial and the conviction doesn't happen, it's cleaner to start again with the additional charges than to re-try the first ones.

Heard it reported Alabam police got one from an gun/ammo type magazine found at Alabama crime scene. It was Malvo's. Not sure if it will end up verified.
