Overnite, two men arrested while sleeping in their car at a reststop in MD. John Mohammed aka John Williams and his stepson Lee Malvo. Mohammad is thought to be the likely shooter.

Dysfunctional family? Maybe Malvo ran away rather than be deported, and hooked up with Williams at a homeless shelter later. Maybe he had a love/hate thing going with Williams. Maybe Williams offered him excitement, adventure and lotsa $$$. So, not seeing any other options, he accepted.

Malvo is a minor, so I doubt we'll get many of those details, though more may come out later.

Personally, I just think that 'clearly' is a word that he uses often. I did notice him use it once or twice at tonight's press conference.

Yes, in the family interviews there was no mention of what they were driving. However,one of the men said that they called and said they were in Baton Rouge, then came to the house with their backpacks. He repeated that, he said, both of them had backpacks. I got the impression that he thought there was something odd about that, like maybe they might have been hitchhiking. Now, wouldn't that be chilling to realize that you might have given those two a ride ?

not causing minorities to be misidentified, has caused 4 additional people to be killed, because the Baltimore LE, that stopped the same Caprice with the same killers in it (on October 8th), let them go because they were black and not white.

Well I will admit I have my opinions about Moose and yes I have heard all about the award Janet Reno gave him and the trip to the White House

However I don't know what all happened behind the scenes and what all occurred and how accurate or inaccurate information was being passed on

Which was one of the reasons I was a little disaapointed with tonights news conference

With that all said .. I am not going to dump on Chief Moose unless I have all or most of the facts straight because if he did nothing wrong, then it would not be fair to dump on him

Has anyone questioned whether this kid is actually 17 ?? Wonder what the INS accepts as proof of birth .Wouldn't surprise me, if they just took the alien's word as to their date of birth and they know how to play the system-it's better to be a youth- for the benefits. Saw the video of Malvo doing the perp walk and he looked older than 17.

I have been offline most of the day.

Some of my thoughts this evening... Did they do the liquor store killing on Sept 21st for money to continue their travels... If Malvo was the shooter did that turn him into a cold blooded killer...Would Malvo been a knowledgeable driver after the shooting in the DC area...To save my earlier prediction (after the first mass killings) I believe Malvo was the killer in at most of the shootings. I said it was a pimple faced kid...

John Lee Malvo (17) is Jamaican and an illegal. Jamaica's Foreign Affairs Ministry said a Lee Boyd Malvo is registered as having been born in Kingston on Feb. 18, 1985, to Una James and Leslie Samuel Malvo, and a Lee Malvo attended high school in Jamaica before emigrating to another Caribbean island in 1998 at age of 13. Leslie Malvo said he last saw his son in 1998.

They may have had another signator on the title for insurance reasons. Many teens and young adults buy vehicles with their parents name on the title, so they can use their insurance policy. Perhaps JAM's driving record sucked, so he asked a "friend" to co-sign for him.

Osbourne was the co-owner of the car?? I'm guessing for $200, it would be a cash deal. The car would be registered in ONE name, wouldn't it?? How would a co-owner come about?? and why hasn't Osbourne come forward without the cops asking for him to??

Mohammad is probably the closest thing to a father figure Malvo had...another tidbit:

"Chief of Police Randy Carroll of Bellingham, Wash., told reporters that the two men lived in his city in 2001, presenting themselves as stepfather and stepson and that Malvo attended Bellingham High School but dropped out"

That sort of thig happens a lot with really dysfunctional family 'groups'...remember, I used to work with troubled teens. Malvo may have wanted to go live with his 'stepfather' when Williams and James broke up.
