Overnite, two men arrested while sleeping in their car at a reststop in MD. John Mohammed aka John Williams and his stepson Lee Malvo. Mohammad is thought to be the likely shooter.

No, I believe at either the New Orleans Times Picayune ewebsite or at the WWL site they quote an unnamed government source as saying that Mohammed and Malvo's mother lived together for a while.... I wanna say for about 3 years. If that is accurate then they knew each other before Malvo and Mohammed lived at that homeless shelter.

Now in Cboltd's defense - The ABC store is directly across from the Taco Bell. The shots could have come from the car in the Taco Bell Parking lot, but it would have taken too long for Malvo to shoot, get out, run across the street and be rifling the purse. The cop got there in under a minute.

So yes it could have been a test run of the car setup, and Malvo may have been acroos the street to see what he could see and hear. Then he could also rob the victims afterward. The accuracy of the shots (Neck) also points to Muhammed taking the shots if this is the case.

The cop see's malvo chases him, Muhammed leaves the Taco Bell and nonchalantly heads to the Interstate. Malvo Hits the Drainage ditch, goes under the road under the fence and down the hill to where Muhammed is waiting for him on the side of I-85 - into the car and gone.

You may not understand this...but some of us who live in the area of the shootings are genuinely happy this is over...and there are greater issues at hand than Moose's Clinton/Reno job referral.

That was my question...were they in Louisiana this past August? The car was purchased over one year ago...although we don't know the exact date it was picked up.

Forgot to add .. Car was registered by Muhammed in NJ Sept 11, shooting in Montgomery was Sept 22 ... consistent with shooting Sept 14 in DC area.

Question is, Why come to Alabama then turn around and head back to DC. ONly reasonable explanation there is that they met someone or group here in Alabama. Selma and Marion are both around 50 miles from Montgomery and both have large Nation of Islam and Black Panther populations.

Makes you wonder who M and M saw down here, and what was discussed.

Osbourne was the co-owner of the car?? I'm guessing for $200, it would be a cash deal. The car would be registered in ONE name, wouldn't it?? How would a co-owner come about?? and why hasn't Osbourne come forward without the cops asking for him to??
