Looks like they headed to Alabama right after they visited Mohammed's family in Louisiana. Then headed up the east coast.

That was my question...were they in Louisiana this past August? The car was purchased over one year ago...although we don't know the exact date it was picked up.

Forgot to add .. Car was registered by Muhammed in NJ Sept 11, shooting in Montgomery was Sept 22 ... consistent with shooting Sept 14 in DC area.

Question is, Why come to Alabama then turn around and head back to DC. ONly reasonable explanation there is that they met someone or group here in Alabama. Selma and Marion are both around 50 miles from Montgomery and both have large Nation of Islam and Black Panther populations.

Makes you wonder who M and M saw down here, and what was discussed.

Yes, in the family interviews there was no mention of what they were driving. However,one of the men said that they called and said they were in Baton Rouge, then came to the house with their backpacks. He repeated that, he said, both of them had backpacks. I got the impression that he thought there was something odd about that, like maybe they might have been hitchhiking. Now, wouldn't that be chilling to realize that you might have given those two a ride ?

One driver with a lot of stamina can do that in 24 hours, going by the Interstates...or two drivers taking turns.
