Does anybody know why the "spy" plane did not pick up the muzzle flash so this perp can be nailed? Are the planes flying? Did they move them south?

You actually believed it would help? Got Helicopters all over the place, roadblocks, God knows how many cops, and yet the sniper shoots with impunity. Makes you wonder if the professionals are capable of solving this one.

While I enjoy, and even foster humor at many absurd occurences, I don't believe this was the time for that.

This statement would not have been made unless there was a behind the scenes, acknowledgement that there was something else wicked coming.

If that is an exact quote, it doesn't seem to be written by someone with limited command of the english language.

Gunning for children is baseline islamic. Baseline "palestinian", in fact. And the links between the PA, al Quaida and Iraq are well known.

I agree that he is probably a foreign terrorist, but I do not think that phrase is definitive.

If he is a lone gunman, he looks at himself separate from the rest of society; hence, "your children"

Personally, I don't want a bunch of liberals who have never used a gun ending up with a gun in their hands.

But that's the beauty of this proposal. It'll be very difficult for the sniper to tell who does and who doesn't know what they're doing with the gun. (Unless, of course, all of the liberals handle their guns like this guy.)

Well, this, combined with a Freeper (MJY1288) on this thread saying his sister works on the Montgomery Co. task force, and that he is convinced it is NOT Muslim terrorists...that makes me think again about the missing French sniper. He's foreign, he's missing, he knows how to shoot at a distance, and is presumably not Muslim.

When did the shooter make the threat?
I wonder if the shooter watched the special a couple days ago about the never-found Zodiac killer.
He was a sniper and he ALSO made written threats against kids.
Wonder if he got the idea from the show??
