What a FReep!!!!!!! YeeeeeeHaaaaaaw!!!!!!!
Todays FReep in Fort Collins, CO. was outrageous. We outnumbered the useful idiots 2 to 1 and really showed what patriotic Americans can do when their heart is in it. We counted at least 40 TROOP SUPPORTERS in our ranks compared to just 19 anti-everythings. As per usual we outclassed them again. SPECIAL THANKS to the Colorado Patriot Drum and Fife Corps who showed up in full force today, you guys were excellent! SPECIAL THANKS to the VFW members who also showed up in force today, you all look super in your hats!Great pictures coming your way....
Wow, out of the mouths of babes. What a great kid (and dad who raised him right)!
HOW DARE YOU STEAL MY SIGNS
There I was, by myself on station at the S.W. corner, minding my own business. I guess my anti-green,anti-U.N.,pro-capitalist signs finally got to them, so they conspired together and STOLE MY SIGNS,literaly.
There was this as you would call him, unwashed, guy standing behind me as if waiting for the walk signal. I pushed the walk button for him and continued FReeping the idiots. I heard a loud bang and turned around to see this guy diving in the back of a pickup truck which slowed up for him. He took 2 of my double sided signs and the pickup floored it to make their getaway.
Here is what the signs said: "Thin Our Forests","U.S. Out of the U.N.","Drill the Gulf", and "God Bless Capitalism". I have been ripped off by the Green,Anti-Capitalist,Globalists. What they don't have a clue about is my resolve.
An Open Letter to the Sign Thieves:
Hey Buck'o! I know what you look like, I know what the truck looks like, I know exactly what my sign lumber looks like. You may as well make firewood out of the lumber, because if it shows up on one of your peace-nik signs I will be getting you in a conversation with the Fort Collins P.D.. In fact you screwed up. For every 2 signs you steal I will make 4, for every 4 signs you steal, I will make 8! Since I have a custom wood shop, I can fabricate my sign lumber faster than you can steal it. Since I sell poster-board, I just picked up 8 new posters in NEON. Better wear your sunglasses next week. As a matter of fact I am kinda low on wood, I guess I'll call my lumberjack buddy and we will go cut down a nice big Colorado Blue Spruce to make protest lumber with.
God Bless America!

That is wonderful!! Oh, how I wish we could get that kind of turn out in FResno. You've got them on the run, keep up the good work!
God bless America!
Adding a few photos of my own ....
This is Joe. He and George (not pictured) were the two VFW Vets who started this all off a year ago October, contributing their own money for the big banner and the metal stands, and talking their fellow Vets into standing with them to support our troops.
TRTeamer demos the usefulness of 2-sided signs.
He had a rough day today. Just after I took these and left for the NE corner, he heard a loud noise behind him and turned to see a thief banging his knees hard on the side of the pickup he was hastily jumping into along with 4 of TRTeamer's signs! VERMIN!!! They drove off with them, and TRTeamer failed to get the license plate. Just one more demonstration of "Practical Pacifism 101," I guess. Who are they trying to fool anyway, with their pretensions to pacifism and non-violence?
Say, TRT - I forgot to ask for a description of the truck, so we can be alert if they ever come through here again. We'd better not leave you alone over there for very long next time!
My longtime friend Mike McCormick on the drum. He owns/runs Cache La Poudre Rifleworks a couple of blocks north of here, and has appeared as an extra in full Mountain Man regalia of his own design in numerous westerns (such as in the Rendezvous scenes in "Centennial").
Shy first-time Freeper! My daughter (right) loves to bounce up and down on the edge of the sidewalk with a good sign, giving a wave or a thumbs-up to passing cars with the hope of getting the same in return. But today she brought a new friend who's never done anything remotely like this, and who spent most of the hour hiding behind large signs! Heh, heh. I thought it was kinda cute.
A couple more VFW Vets, with the Ladies Auxiliary behind them.
RMRattlesnake's Better Half. Her sign expresses the core reason we're out here. We love our troops! Go USA!!
NorCoGOP and his wife and sons on their first visit here. They also won the prize for bringing the Youngest Freeper with them (she's off the right edge of the photo in a baby carriage).
SoftEngine and NorCoGOP. At the left in some odd kind of garb that said to me "60's Burnout" is a photographer who said she had friends on both sides of the street, and who wanted to capture both sides on her camcorder.
When she made some remark about innocent women dying in Afghanistan from the bombs, I reminded her that ALL wars since the dawn of time have killed innocent civilians - accidentally or otherwise, and asked her if that was a reason to never use military force. And likewise, given the fact that policemen will on occasion shoot innocent people, is that a reason to do away with all police forces?
She thought a bit and then answered, "I'm apolitical".
You bet! And I'm the fairy godmother. Nice to meetcha. ...... Well, at least she was polite.
This is the first time I've tired posting photos. Man, this is a lot of work!
Way to go, COLORADO!
You should post it ALL over FR!
You have every right to be proud of it!
Your sailor is proud of you and what you do for our troops.
Kudos!!
