AHHHHHHHHH, Tahoe. Just thinkin' bout that place makes me feel better (some clown ran into the back of our van today while we were waiting at the traffic light - trying to convince hubby its time to trade that puppy in!). Tahoe is so beautiful. Doesn't look like we'll get up there this summer. We're takin' dittokid to a speech (forensics) camp at UT Austin and checkin' out our old stomping grounds in San Antonio - a deep in the heart 'o Texas vacation.

There are a lot of things to do in and around Vegas besides gamble. The shows are cheap or free. The meals are cheap or free. The drinks are cheap or free. For gambling, all the grocery stores have like nickle slots. Put your loose change in. Heck, you could win. My sister in law wins about once a month.

Besides, you can go out of town on a day trip and find dinosaur bones. <G> My dream vacation. Also my favorite knick nacks.
