Sue The Democrats For Reparations ...
Vanity | Today | MAKnight

Posted on 05/08/2002 5:37:28 PM PDT by MAKnight

Any black conservatives here willing to try something that would throw the Left into major turmoil? Sue the Democrat Party for Reparations! They're a hundred times more responsible for Jim Crow and all those other horrors than any of the companies being sued now! The media would start souring on the idea almost immediately ... and Jesse would be tying himself in knots trying to get the 'Rats off the hook in the black community. He'll no doubt try the canard that the Dixiecrats are all Republicans now but that's provable bullsh*t ... and that would come out in court ... if it gets that far. ;)

First the republican party has pulled this same stunt. Second. You answered your own statement.

Not as a incumbent, and NOT against a very popular republican.

Perhaps if the Republican Party had actually tried to present a respectable canidate, I may have voted differently.

By the way, until the 2000 election, I had NOT seen even ONE advertisment support from ANY canidate for Senator for my district.

Zell Miller, from what I understand, was the ONLY Senate Democrat Canidate in 2000 to be endorsed by the NRA, also the republican canidate opposing him was NOT endorsed by the NRA.

The Republican Party's LACK of effort, pactically HANDED Zell Miller the election.

My Republican Senator (Fitzgerald, R-IL) voted to convict Clinton on BOTH counts. If you'd like to see what Zell Miller (D-GA) thinks of Clinton, watch his 1992 Democrat convention speech.

I was talking about Hyde, particularly. Also, I found what Zell, in 2000, had to say about Clinton more interesting.

In the 1930's though the black people realized that the republicans were racists and so they started voting democrat in large numbers.

The Democrats won the racist sweepstakes in the '30's, as they have before and since. I believe that blacks blamed Republicans for the Great Depression and went Democrat for that reason and because of all the promises of a Socialistic Paradise that the Left was making then.

Hey, maybe some pro-reparations people will get the idea to sue the descendents of Thomas Jefferson...and I mean ALL the descendents who have Jefferson DNA. What a dilemma then!

Well said! Coincidentally, I finished an editorial yesterday suggesting that they sue the Dems for reparations - it should go out in next month's Houston Review

We have a circulation of about 5,000 in print plus several thousand more over the web, so who knows...maybe a taker will emerge and expose the reparations shakedown for what it truly is...or perhaps bankrupt the DNC in payments to blacks.

Sue the individual Democratic parties of Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee. File these lawsuits because they, through their elected officials, endangered your ancestor's lives by seceding from the Union. BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

I love it! Don't forget Texas though. It took no less than FOUR DIRECT ORDERS from the United States Supreme Court before the Texas Democrat Party let blacks vote in their primary. During the 1928 Democrat national convention in Houston, blacks were literally segregated by a large wire cage from the rest of the convention on the floor.

I believe you have a valid point there. The GOP will one day break that stronghold, and I think we will see some incredible changes in our communities and our schools. Once the black community become educated and experience the positive support the Republicans give. I believe there would be a dramatic change in the way blacks vote.
