Is there a possibility to have thread titles - only? Sometimes the description of the first 20 paragraphs isn't really required during the browsing procedure...

Click "My Locale", click your state, and you will see that option near the top/middle left.

To get Breaking News back up on your sidebar:

Click on the Topics link at the top of the page. Find the topic you want on your sidebar. If you want Breaking News, make sure you are under News/Acivism then go to topics and click Breaking News. Then on the left bar, under the flag image, click subscribe. You will then have it on your right sidebar. Repeat with other topics you want.

I have Breaking News, Humor, and Sports.

The State Forum messages now appear at the top if you have listed yourself on a state board. Check "My Locale".

That option is available in the left sidebar. Also, you adjust these type of settings in "Preferences".

How can I get the old format back? I DON'T like all the fuss-stuff that is here now. Even the 'self search' comment part is loaded with more than I want.

If I can't get the old format back, then how can I get rid of the new format? I'm not trying to be funny. There is just TOO much stuff. I come for news and comments and I get questions, and distractions.
