A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 12/17/01

President Bush marked the end of Ramadan with a ceremony at the White House, where he also read stories to Washington-area Muslim children. He also answered a few questions from the press regarding the war on terror. Bush also had four non-cancerous lesions removed from his face, which is noticable on today's photos. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

President Bush is a genuinely kind and gentle man. I'm very proud of him.

I agree. And how the children genuinely like him, it's very obvious what a good man he is.

Most Americans do not get as involved in political debates, but most Americans realize that if the man they voted for does not become President, they still support their President as part of being patriotic Americans. The majority of Americans do not like spiteful people and Tom Daschle is gonna be labeled a spiteful person just like Newt Gingrich found out, and no matter how soft spoken Otoma bin Daschle comes across as, his true colors are will come to light.

Tom Daschle will be working for his Wife as an assistant Lobbiest for the Airline Industry in 2003.

God Willing

x-42's multi-tasking was limited to keeping all of his call girls and interns in line. What a disgrace and now strangely out of the spotlight?

I happened to see two tabloids side-by-side (when I was hunting for the Wartime President magazine), one cover was about George and Laura's wonderful, loving relationship (I confess, I checked it out, and bought it! LOL!), and the other with a picture of the hideous ex42 and a woman with the headline "Clinton's new woman" or something to that effect.

All I could think was, he still continues to disgrace himself, even after he is out of office and completely irrelevant.

Once again, the contrast between the Bush's and Clintons continues to be one of light and dark, day and night, good and evil, fragrance and stench.
I thank the Lord that America has been given a second chance!

Most Americans do not get as involved in political debates ...

True...and I think most Americans can judge when a politician is talking straight and is sincere (Bush), which is why I can see his approval numbers remaining fairly high even when the focus is off the war. But to Daschle's credit he comes across much less hard-nosed then Newt and will probably not become the bogeyman the dems made Newt out to be.

Great pics, rintense. That little girl is just too cute; especially in the last photo where she's lifting her dress. Isn't that just like a little girl showing off her party dress!

If Dubya's face heals like mine did when I had one of those things frozen off my nose, he'll be healed within the week!

What Newt's problem was, he was too eager to get in front of the camera, those photo op's always make the six o-clock news, "Meet the Press" does not get aired at dinner time.

Otoma bin Dashle is too short and too hard to find :-)

Joke of the Day
G.W. Bush and Bill Clinton somehow ended up at the same barber shop. As they sat there, each being worked on by a different barber, not a word was spoken. The barbers were both afraid to start a conversation, for fear it would turn to politics.

As the barbers finished their shaves, the one who had Clinton in his chair reached for the aftershave. Clinton was quick to stop him saying, "No,thanks. Hillary will smell that and think I've been in a "Whorehouse".

The second barber turned to Bush and said, "How about you?" Bush replied, "Go ahead. Laura doesn't know what the inside of a whorehouse smells like."

I found the Bush - Making of a Wartime President AND the "Rum Punch" magazines at the third store I tried. Read both of them all the way through last evening, although neither took long to read (lots of graphics in the Wartime President magazine). Both are splendid, and I thank everyone who brought them to the group's atteniton.

I have had liquid nitro applied to the same type of lesion as our president, and the way his skin looks is exactly the way mine did. I have an auto-immune system which makes life interesting whenever there is any chance of infection in my system, and of course, the burned skin got infected underneath, complicating the healing. I hope Bush heals faster and better than I did!

You're right, but I never could go that far in accepting clinton.

I found the magazine at Target ..... not up by the check-out but in a magazine section near the CDs, videos, and books.

RWP ~~~ thanks again for another wonderful set of pics.

ALL ~~~ finally got to see the Christmas in Washington special tonight. Started off kinda slow and I was somewhat disappointed (except for the times when the camera panned to the the President and First Lady) ..... but then it really picked up and finished really strong .... very inspirational! Even Mr. kayak was impressed and that's not usually his sort of thing.

It just looks ... magical there, with the Bush family's (and God's) influence spreading, cleansing the place.

I found my magazine (plus a spare for someone deserving) at Target. I left two. They were almost out.

Thanks, Bush Babes, for the alert.

I got this in my email today from my DH, who works at Fedex. Thought you'd enjoy it, even without photos.

President Bush and David Broczek will be together in Maryland to watch the loading of gifts from US children to the children and families of Afghanistan. So far. 1.5 million has been raised from President Bush's call to donate 1.00 per child. This money has been spent on 1,500 tents, 1,658 winter coats and 10,000 gifts to the people of Afghanistan. Fedex couriers are loading trucks and containers in Maryland. A fedex MD-11 will transport the gifts to Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. Air force jets will then take the gifts into Afghanistan. Fedex is doing all this free of charge. I think this is something we all can take special pride in during this season.

I too can relate. I lived in Bangkok, Thailand for close to 5 months, and the sun ruined my skin. I had to have these special treatments. From under my eye down to my jaw, I had these huge patches of discoloration. It was splotchy, etc. So, I'm glad the President took care of it before it got to be a bigger problem.
