President Bush marked the end of Ramadan with a ceremony at the White House, where he also read stories to Washington-area Muslim children. He also answered a few questions from the press regarding the war on terror. Bush also had four non-cancerous lesions removed from his face, which is noticable on today's photos. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: Oh, no, I'm not going to tell the enemy what's next. They just need to know that so long as they plan, and have got plans to murder innocent people, America will be breathing down their neck.

What precious pictures of Presidnet Bush with the children. Rintense can't you just feel the love for the children in the room. It is so dear.
I am so glad what he had burned off is non cancerous. I pray for him everyday.
To: rintense
He's extremely gentle with children isn't he. What a man!

It takes class to go forward with your duties even knowing you don't look your best.
That Texas sun sure catches up with us! I've got the freckles to prove it!

The first picture with the little girl is so precious. I sure hope our dear Dubya will be okay. I don't like hearing of precancerous tissue, but I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. Thanks for the pictures rintense.

I can relate. I used to have milky white skin when I lived in northern CA. I moved to AZ have more freckles now than I've ever had before.

He's extremely gentle with children isn't he. What a man!Don't you just love it! The picture of that little girl whispering to him is too cute. God Bless our President!

I agree with you about how our President is with children. His entire personality changes as soon as kids are around. His eyes become so very gentle and his voice so calm and quiet. And I pray for him every day, too. I don't care if he has spots on his face or not - he is not filled with things like that. He understands that he has a job to do every day and nothing is going to stop his ongoing work. We are so lucky to have him...so lucky.

I am so glad the explanation for the marks on his face was posted! I was watching Fox today and thought, "Oh, no! What's that!?!"
He looks relaxed and happy with those children. That is good. Hope the fence-sitting Muslims take heed!

I agree with you about how our President is with children. His entire personality changes as soon as kids are around. His eyes become so very gentle and his voice so calm and quiet. Very nice, except that I would amend it by saying that his personality doesn't change at all when he's around children. President Bush is a genuinely kind and gentle man. I'm very proud of him.

I've seen lots of pictures of Dubya with children but these are so sweet. Picture number one with the small girl seemingly telling Dubya a secret was very moving.
We have said this before but people gravitate to Dubya because he is so approachable and thoughtful.
It is not hero worship to be thankful that he is the president. He is helping keep our spirits up while also being the Commander in Chief. x-42's multi-tasking was limited to keeping all of his call girls and interns in line. What a disgrace and now strangely out of the spotlight?

"I pray for him everyday."
I do also.

It takes class to go forward with your duties even knowing you don't look your best(lady-like giggle) You are correct. One picture will be used by his detractos, but our President goes about doing the people's REAL business.
BTW That first picture of the little Muslim girl in purple looking up at President Bush is absolutely precious. Pictures like these calm me, because I have felt many things beside "calm" about that religion. It reminds me that while not pretending it is all peaceful, there are many peaceful people represented. Thank you yet again Rintense. Every night I look at my special Christmas card from the first family - it means a lot to me.
To: rintense
Thanks for the pictures. Especially those with the charming little children.

My husband golfs several times a week (in high altitude Denver) and he gets those same pre-cancerous spots. The doctor looks at them and then burns them off. He did have one that he let get too deep and then had to have it cut out. Just need to keep an eye on them all of the time.
I also agree, that little girl in the first pic was adorable. Made me think what a great grandpa he is gonna be some day. Can you imagine how lucky a granddaughter would be to have GW and Laura. (A grandson, too).
Thanks, again, rintense. I love the nightly pics.
