What's this "Threads" stuff?

WTH is going on with the new format? I absolutely hate it so far, but then again I don't like when k00l things I'm used to change.
The "Latest Posts" was great for getting into the conversations that had the most juice.
What do you guys think?

I think you are a computer-illiterate technoclod, and should seriously consider going into something less intellectually demanding like phone sales or door to door carpet cleaning.

Actually, there's been an improvement. On some screens the label used to say "replies" and on others it said "latest posts", but now the terminology is consistent. I can get used to "threads". However, when composing a reply, the "help" link refers to "replies" as "latest", so there's still a ways to go.

Taking up space to get to 100 replies (excuse me, to 100 comments).
These kinds of articles, I mean threads, are what make FR addicting...
