It's amazing that even with the thousands of deaths we experienced recently, the homosexual crowd are still most concerned with their sex perversion. Regarding Father Mike, Andrew Sullivan has mentioned him several times on his website insisting (almost demanding) that he is a homosexual. What really is the point of these declarations except to insult the integrity of others? Will the gay militants ever stop?

Father Judge was neither out nor closetedAnd in the narrow gap in that false dichotomy lies the entirety of the heterosexual world that believes there are other dimmensions of being besides whether one is homosexual or not.

When will we as "straights" ever stop the unending battle to smear all homosexuals as evil and less deserving of grace?
Mychal Judge was there at the World Trade Center against his better safety administering the last rights to the fallen. He was a brave man doing the Lord's work providing comfort and salvation to the dying in the wake of the atrocity while others (majority straight I am sure) were fleeing the scene. He lost his own life in that service. His bravery should be a lesson to all of us.

If he lived up to his Vow of Celibacy, his "homosexuality" is kinda a moot point, no?

i have no truck with homosexuality, but my understanding of religion, flawed though it may be, suggests that it is now between mychal judge and god, and campaigning against him now won't do his immortal soul any harm, but it might tarnish yours just a smidgeon.
as to the homosexual community, seems to me that for them to look to the likes of fr. judge for an example of a good life well lived might not be that bad an idea.

Nope. As of now stopping their agenda is not high on my priorities list, but they are still there. They never take a break

Read it again. This priest, gay, straight, or celibate, died while offering comfort to the wounded firefighters and police officers. I do not agree with the gay lifestyle, nor do I agree with you speaking ill of the dead, especially when he risked his life to fulfill his duties as an ordained priest. This is hardly being an activist.
When my time comes, I'll welcome any priest who gives me the last rites, and not wonder about his sexual preference. You should not concern yourself about this; he was assigned to the firehouse as their chaplain, and if it concerned anyone, it should have been the firefighters.

It's not hard to understand at all. Homosexuality is a mental disorder with serious narcissistic aspects. Their obsession with themselves and their sexuality becomes the only important issue in their lives. To separate them from it is akin to condemning them to death.
In this same vein, it's impossible for a celibate man to be 'gay'. If Rev. Mike honored his vow, he wasn't 'gay'.

The man served God. That is all that matters.

I haven't yet seen any confirmation that he was homosexual. He may have worked with the Dignity group, and I read he was a tireless worker for AIDS sufferers, but that does not mean he was an active part of that lifestyle. Homosexual activists knew of his work and just assumed he was, but if no one has proof of it, the comments shouldn't be passed around as truth.

AIDS philanthropist Edward Maloney told the Advocate he once asked Judge how he survived in New York's conservative archdiocese. "He put his fingers to his lips as if to shush the question." Said Maloney, "Father Judge was neither out nor closeted. He knew how to walk that fine line and work behind the scenes. He brought bravery, dedication, loyalty -- and a touch of sexuality -- to the two institutions he cherished: the church and the fire department."
Edward Maloney is a sick bastard to co-op a priest's death to advance his "cause". Priests are not there to provide a "a touch of sexuality".

Mike Judge was a family friend, a brave, honorable, generous man. The few times he stayed with us, he was never anything less than a paragon of decency, grace and class.
I'm not sure what the purpose of this article is, except to smear his good name, and perhaps as an opportunity to engage in a little good ol' fashioned Catholic bashing on the side.
