AA Passenger plane has crashed in Queens, live video on Fox News... Developing!

CNN reported that eyewitnesses saw an explosion on the right side of the plane.

After 9/11, what is the likelihood that a well maintained American Airlines plane would take off with an unnoticed mechanical problem egregious enough to cause a explosion?

First unlock all your own doors and leave them open, then you can tell your country to leave its doors unlocked and opened.

I like to say that to people. Why do they lock their doors? Burglars get past them all the time. Pick locks, break a window or use a sledgehammer. Why do people take out their car keys? Many cars get stolen even though they do this.

My conclusion is they care about their own miserable ass but not their nation's welfare.

Do they keep/store the x-ray images taken of bags at the airport? How long would it take the FBI to review those? Also, could they have determined something from seeing the televised pictures of the engine at the gas station being aired on FOX...maybe they have seen enough to make some conclusions.

NO eyewitness reports of such is more amazing, since we have had numerous conflicting eyewitness reports, such as the one guy who said he saw the tailpiece in the water(sounds like a hoax, would have seen more of these reports, would be aware of a sea search by now).

I highly doubt if the terrorists will cease their evil during Ramadan. Heck, they have killed each other during that time, what's a few (or many) infidels being murdered if it is pleasing to their perverted god? I can't listen to this news stuff. Am watching Fox News but am listening to the New York City Police scanner off of Yahoo. Just because there is an explosion on board doesn't mean a bommb did it. Give me a Freakin break. That is the most likely cause!

Oh, very sadly it may turn out to be a bomb. I think it is more likely than not. I just don't like to see misinformation spreading like this. The FBI didn't say bomb YET.
