There you are.

Yes, I saw Laz's post about x42. Let him talk. It only makes him look worse.

If you notice X42's photo on drudgereport.com, he does appear somewhat greenish.

He's so green with envy, he can taste it! Bush 90% approval; Clinton 72%. Bush cheered at NYC; Hillary booed.

What are doing with all the time on your hands now that you don't have to watch the thread and make Thread II, Thread III, etc.? You're probably using that new found time to update your site. Checked it out yesterday, it looks great....thanks for your hard work here and there.

You know that those 90% approval ratings for Dubya are driving x42 nuts. Throw in the fact that the President gets cheered at Yankee Stadium while he and 97 got booed at Madison Square Garden, and you have great potential for an egomaniacal breakdown of Biblical proportions.

AND A GOOD 'REACHED FOR AND MISSED' MY BARF BAG, SHORTS WEARING WEATHER A.M. FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST! One can believe anything wihen it comes from the # l scumbag in the world, and he believes it and that makes it even worse. What bothers me is that there are thousands of federal workers in Washington doing their dirt, to:wit Tennent, CIA, the Surgeon Gen. why oh why are they still there. RUDY for the CIA and the house cleaning starts. I would have thought Ashfroft would have gotten rid of more top heads in the FBI, whats the hold up. Oh yeah, you can bet your botton dollar that every time 'Scumbag' sees 'THE MAN', THE PRESIDENT, OUR PRESIDENT, on TV he gets red faced and sick to his whatever. Clitons are two people I feel right about talking bad about. May we keep our prayers up for our troops, for our President and for our families, the sick and dying and for this Nation, the greatest in history.

Good morning!! Rainy here today.

I have decided the press need to be mocked and put in their place. Therefore, I am instituting a daily feature on this thread. Those of you who care to may contribute. The name of the feature is:

STUPID PRESS QUESTION OF THE DAY

Please submit your nominations from the press briefings of the prior day, and when possible, name the reporter. Today I am pleased to announce the winner for yesterday, MAJOR GARRETT of CNN who asked the following question of Dr. Condoleeza Rice, National Security Advisor:

Q Dr. Rice, the administration has said the military campaign on Afghanistan is going according to plan; yet some in Afghanistan, some in Pakistan, some even in Europe are confused as to what the plan is; why hasn't more been achieved through the air campaign, when is the ground campaign going to begin in earnest? And there is some concern that this isn't going as well as the administration had originally advertised, or led the American people to believe. It's even caused anxiety in the stock market, causing, in some cases, share prices to go down. What can you tell the American people about the plan, why it's going so well, and deal with those skeptical voices, not only in the region, but among some of our European allies?

Major Garrrett is awarded the Golden Buffoon for his speech-making, his blaming the economy on President Bush, but most importantly, for actually asking when the ground war will start, resurrecting that golden oldie from the Gulf War.

I am sure that many of you will want to follow Mr. Garrett's career as he asks other probing questions. Perhaps you would like to drop him a note congratulating him on this award.

I encourage all to participate. Secretary Rumsfeld's press briefings yield lots of material, and of course Ari Fleischer is out there fielding the questions of the intellectual giants of the White House press pool every day. Keep an eye out!! You may submit the winning entry!!

There is a very good sportswriter at the Chicago Tribune...named Morrissey...

His column on Monday morning expressed regret...

This might not be the Yankees' year after all...Maybe, in the aftermath of 9/11, they'd taken on too much..

Maybe they were too old...

Then he started on the D'backs...And their colors....

Gold... Teal...

AUBERGINE....AUBERGINE?????!!!!

There's no AUBERGINE in baseball!

LOL, it was a great ending to the column, and the original Tom Hanks line is one of my movie favorites.

Good morning Chairman and all you wonderful people.

Nice morning here...67 degrees and the sun is trying to come out.

Re: X42 and McCartney's fiance....move along...nothing to see here. I love saying that. :-) The all about me crowd sickens me to the point of completely ignoring them.

Good Morning Chairman,

My world is tilting a bit this morning. First, Rosie O'Donnell LUVS President Bush. Geraldo is moving to Fox News. The NEA is writing impressive tomes in support of the war effort and with Kudos to Bush.

So I'm absorbing this all and pondering why the Yankees just can't come out and win a game the easy way for God's sake.

Anyway, tulip bulbs getting planted today in the hopes there'll be a spring 2002 for their bloom. As I plant I'll sing a happy tune. For I was patriotic when patriotism wasn't kewl.

I have a question being we are talking about the press conferences, etc. Why when a politician has a press conference such as Gov Davis, the Mayor of Washington and so fourth, do they have all those folks standing behind them, doing nothing but looking dumber by the minute, just exactly what are they there for?

I read that small article by mccartney's girlfriend. Isn't it sickening she would "interview" that person? He is such a sorry twit.

Good afternoon!

Molly, glad to see you back.

Utah Girl and Kachina, condolences to you.

Illstillbe, have a safe and satisfying trip to Chicago. Two weeks will be a long time without you. Be careful wearing your "flowing things" in the Windy City lest we see a repeat of the Flying(Tiny Irish)Nun, LOL!

Miss Marple your idea is inspired regarding the question of the day.

Leaving for the you-know-where, so have a wonderful week-end everyone! The blessings continue to flow...
