On Wednesday, aerospace giant Boeing announced it will return its Defense, Space & Security headquarters to St. Louis following almost a decade in Virginia.
The move comes only weeks after radical Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D) took office.
Steve Parker, Boeing Defense, Space & Security CEO, said in a statement, “It’s important for leaders to be side-by-side with our teammates, listening to their feedback and acting to remove obstacles as we continue to stabilize and strengthen our business.”

She’s Spanbummer!
Something for the stupid voters to think about when they vote , how many companies will leave and take a ton of jobs with them
Bkmk
So hope it continues!!
Screw Virginia. Hope jobs leave in droves!!
Man, those idiots can’t settle down! Seattle to Chicago to Virginia to St Louis! That flightly nonsense is expensive!
The Dims here in Virginia are trying to fool us by abandoning two bills that would have raised taxes on minor things like food deliveries. They still have the big ones in the pipeline. I wouldn’t be surprised if more companies do the same.
Who would want to live in St. Louis?
Two words: Winsome Sears. Democrats wouldn’t vote for a black woman.
General Dynamics is also headquartered in Virginia. I wonder if GD has any plans to move?
They should spin off their defense-contracts division into GD Virginia. Yeah, that works. Then they can elect more GD Democrats. Even crown Spanberger the GD governor.
A few hundred or even thousand people moving won’t be enough o change anything, and StL county is already a s’hole.
Nor will most whites that ever had to work with one
This is a misleading headline and the story is really not that huge a deal. Boeing is only moving its “Defense, Space & Security” headquarters out of Virginia. Boeing’s Global Headquarters will remain as will the other research facilities it has nearby.
This probably will only affect less than 100 jobs.
My niece and her husband. It was a career upgrade over her work in Alaska.
The Indiana Bears?? Okay, I can work with that.
mmmm well idk, Hammond looks like it’s about 50 feet across the state line.
With lots of government work, there is often a requirement to have an office within a 50 mile radius of the Pentagon or Capitol.
Or use to be anyway… been there, done that.
“A few hundred or even thousand people moving won’t be enough o change anything”
Promise me no blue corporation ever moves to a red state ever again and I’ll have nothing to fear going forward.
Yeah. More on the way.
I fear, and with reasonable evidence. It’s not just a few hundred or thousand across multiple, multiple corporations. Its red states turned blue.
The company has had multiple offices near the Pentagon as long as I have worked there. The relocation of corporate headquarters to Reston was driven by putting the C suite officers closer and exiting the poor business conditions in California.
