Grand Jury Declines to Indict Letitia James Again on Mortgage Fraud Allegations
Just The News ^ | December 4, 2025 | John Solomon

Posted on 12/04/2025 6:40:25 PM PST by CrosscutSaw

A grand jury in Virginia on Thursday declined to indict New York Attorney General Letitia James on a new indictment related to allegations that she committed mortgage fraud.

The decision comes after a federal judge dismissed the initial case against James last month, ruling that the federal prosecutor who brought the case was not lawfully appointed. The prosecutor, Lindsey Halligan, was appointed by Attorney General Pam Bondi.

The grand jury's decision was first reported by CNN and NBC News, citing sources familiar with the matter. The second attempt to indict James was presented to the grand jury in Norfolk, Virginia, by different prosecutors.

If there was no indictment then there should be no public information about the proceedings.

This story is likely made up.

It’s one of the beautiful, holy, most-sacred DEI ghettopotomai of the communist left. IF anyone thought even for a second that this most sacred creature was to be held accountable for anything, they’re crazy.
They’re free to roam and do as they darn well as they please. “Laws for thee, but none for me” is the name of their game....spit.
The justice system in this country is beyond redemption....

Just goes to show that in certain places the jury pool is so contaminated by people who have no interest in justice. These people are from the same jury pool that would actually sit in a trial. There is not even any such thing as a far trial anymore. They reason something like this:

Democrat: Innocent
Republican: Guilty

Woman is guilty as sin yet the court refuses to indict. Perfect example of doing a complete overhaul of the judicial system. Bad, bad, bad call.

Woman is guilty as sin, yet the court refuses to indict.

The court system is upholding the legal principle that "It is not a crime when a Democrat does it".

It was a very weak case to begin with. It’s extremely rare for a Grand Jury to decline to prosecute someone.

Did anyone reminded these jurors that this wasn’t an election?

While grand jury testimony is protected by secrecy, the failure of a grand jury to return a true bill is public information from the court.

What legally admissible evidence of her guilt do you know that the grand jury missed? I’m sure they’d have welcomed your insightful testimony.
