Dems, media hijack devastating Texas flooding to push 'shameful' climate change, anti-Trump narrative

Democrats and media outlets across the country have been quick to politicize the devastating flooding in Texas that killed at least 91 people by blaming climate change, President Trump, race and government cuts.

"It is hard to make the Texas flood tragedy worse, except to know that on the same day Trump signed a bill cratering solar and wind energy that is vital in the battle against the climate change making these torrential rains more frequent," former Washington Gov. Jay Inslee posted on X on Saturday as bodies were still being recovered in Texas.

"I think climate change is obviously a part of it," Dem. Rep. Joaquin Castro told CNN. "These floods are happening more often."

Really Inslee, having more solar panels and wind turbines would have stopped the floods.

Wicked weather has been documented since biblical times, it happens, Inslee.

Prayers for the victims and families affected by this 1 in 100 year event.

Screw climate change narrative. It’s the DARPA narrative that’s problematic.

This area has been prone to flooding like this forever.

That’s why it’s camps and not luxury homes along a scenic river. You can’t get insurance.

The floods, in fact, played a large part in the Texas-Mexican war, as Stephen F Austin knew they would come and used the regular flooding to bog down the Mexican Army’s artillery.

Before Hurricane Helene, Asheville was ravaged by a similar hurricane in 1916.

When the Palisades/Pasadena fires happened, the media turned themselves intro pretzels to defend Newsom and Bass “dont you dare blame them for this, it was an act of God” they said..even though they had a WEEK to prepare for high winds, Bass left the country, there was NO water in the reservoir and fire hydrants, but dont you dare blame Newsom and Bass, they are Dems dont ya know, they are except..but for this, this has to be Trumps fault cause ya know, its Trump and its easy to blame him for something that was literally a once in a 100 yr event..the town had NO warning system, no bull horn, no nothing, because it was “too expensive” that alone would have saved a lot of lives, but they didnt have it, the question is why?

Did he prove floods were happening more often and how does that prove warming or cooling?

Similar flash floods have happened there for 100 years, So to blame them on climate change is patently ridiculous. The NWS issued warnings for days and hours prior to the floods, but those timely warnings were not heeded. If there is anyone to blame it is local emergency management officials who should have been conducting evacuations in the hours before the floods. They should have been at those camps with bullhorns getting everyone evacuated.

We should all have fully expected to see this kind of response after all the discussion about eliminating FEMA, etc. The NWS has been gutted to provide a commercial space for general weather, but the timing doesn’t look great.

Besides, only the Great State of Texas would permit youth camp owners to build in a river flood basin, which has had another “100 year flood” just a couple decades ago.

Remember the Dems blame guns for shootings (not the criminals) and spoons and fast food for making people fat.

OK. So Climate Change caused the drought that in turn caused the catastrophic fires in LA and also caused catastrophic rainfall in Texas.

Got it.

Yep, the recent flood event was not even the worst flood event in that same valley. The loss of life can be attributed to people going to sleep close to a riverbed unaware a huge storm was dropping a bunch of water on the countryside upstream from where they lay.

By the way, what has become of his conservative wife?
