Good morning!
I have had, at least temporarily, made the decision to not watch any screens beyond entertainment after 6pm. I’m trying to shut down my thoughts beyond calming things. It has been helping. After a short nap about 6:30 last night, I was only awake until 2am. But, I slept until 9 this morning! Yay!
I’m getting sleep, just a weird hours. Maybe it is finally becoming less weird.
FWIW, the doc did prescribe lorazepam at .5mg per night to get me to sleep. That level did nothing at all. By the time I researched the proper dosage, I only had 4mg left of the ‘script. That did put me to sleep and got me started on longer blocks of sleep time. I’m out now and won’t be requesting more until I return to Papua. I did not become addicted (that is all I hear when the topic is discussed, “don’t become addicted. That is SO addicting!”). I needed help and it did help. Better living through chemistry!
