NAW CEO calls on Biden to end union's 'premeditated attack' on US economy: Locked 'back in the Stone Age'

Contract proposals from the International Longshoremen's Association could "lock America back in the Stone Age for another six years," the CEO of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors warned on Tuesday.

Appearing on FOX Business, NAW head Eric Hoplin told Maria Bartiromo the union's push to ban automation at gates and for cranes moving containers and unloading cargo is "unrealistic."...

"Look around the globe. ...Rotterdam started moving to automation 30 years ago. We're already three decades behind," he said....

"The fact that the president is not intervening is a mistake," Hoplin continued.

"So I've joined 200 other trade association CEOs representing the entire economy. We're calling on the president to invoke Taft-Hartley to get involved, to get our ports back in order."...

The dems will use this to further their evil ceo mantra. Every dem I work with believes ceos will be made to pay us back next Harris.
I do know the enemy is not the central s per se… it is the government’s partnerships with corporations through administrative rules that truly burden us. For example, Trump met with AI leaders and has stated he will increase skilled immigrants… instead of fixing the problem. Allow US citizens to get the same degrees from these shole countries. I would support that program every day for natural born citizens.
Trumps plan will echo the great tech replacement f the 90s. Every US citizen is being replaced by the uniparty.

The CEOs can go talk to the union workers if they feel so passionately about it instead of crying to the President.

How exactly does this solve the “problem?”

The 0bama/Biden/Harris plan to collapse and destroy the US economy is now in its final stage. A Harris win will see the West Coast longshoremen go on strike, thus guaranteeing the possibility that Americans could begin to starve. A truckers strike would put the final touch on the plan to destroy the US.

This not a winner for the rodents. It is Crime Boss Joey’s revenge. If Democrat enemy Comrade Harris wins it makes Joey look very bad. As a certified OG he won’t stand for that.
Sorry Surrender Monkeys but if this terrible strike continues and begins to hurt Americans there really is no way our Democrat enemies can blame President Trump and they will own it.

Take your complaints directly to the American people. If the longshoremen are making 6 figure incomes while the average American earns $60,000, they will get very little sympathy.

Longshoremen have priced themselves out of their jobs-and don’t want automation to do the work instead

Hard to believe, but there are actually trolls here who DEFEND labor unions.

In the case of this union, I’ll never forget that FDR had to bribe their leadership, which was The Mafia, to even get them to support the war effort, as in WORLD WAR 2. Every damn one of them should have been tried for treason back then.

The strike is to let off union member steam and then garner some good news for President Biden action when he invokes Taft Hartley and saves Christmas.

The Longshoreman strike gambit will fail to win Kamela and Democrat congressmen votes a month from now

The strike is grist for the media mill diluting coverage of the disastrous Kamela campaign.

Come on man, this is a disaster for harris if Trump uses it right.

Not everythinng is sinister, sometimes it’s just stupid.

And increidbly, blindly pro labor.

Not everything is sinister, but in this case the answer is a resounding: YES.

Or is that your best Joe Biden intimation?

you may not be far off the mark. There are whispers that Biden (read: Jill) is upset Harris has downplayed Biden’s ‘legacy’. She has chosen to distance herself from him as part of her campaign strategy rather than highlight his accomplishments. He may just let the strike proceed until Nov, causing Harris to lose the early vote and so the election, then save Christmas as his swansong.
