Three weeks ago, Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe angrily pushed back on senators’ calls to immediately fire or discipline key agents directly responsible for the security failures that led to the assassination attempt against former President Trump at last month’s campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Since that time, Secret Service leaders have placed several members of the Pittsburgh Field Office on administrative leave, according to three sources in the Secret Service community.
(Administrative leave occurs when a federal employee temporarily leaves their position and work duties – either because of a misconduct investigation or medical or mental health issue. These employees usually still receive pay and benefits, but those decisions are left to the discretion of agency leadership.) event.

Yes, “birthing persons” are pleased.
Government employees fail UP...................Always............
Hope they have good bunkers.
Weeks or months? You guys crack me up.
They will be given promotions to some other department and problem will go away.
That’s what government does.
They fail UPWARDS..........................
Did harris write this word salad?
I think you nailed it. The agents placed on leave are most likely ones that complained about the poor planning or are balking at going along with creating false history. Just like the fired J6 Capitol police that raised issues of their cohorts and fellow 3-letter brothers causing the ruckus.
Did harris write this word salad?
Of course not!
If She had written it, it would sound like Romper Room teacher talking to a class of five-year-olds............
They have thrown out some red meat hoping the wolves will go away from this ‘most foul’ government botched effort to kill Trump. Where is Yearick?
Local cops are put on administrative leave if they discharge their firearm whether they hit anybody or not. It seems rather odd that it took this long to put the agents on leave in such a high profile event/case..

They come straight out of a Corporate Leadership Manual!
I had to take a class at a place I used to work waaay back in the 80’s and those exact phrases were in that manual!.
It’s all gobbledygook to impress lower ranking employees and make you sound waaay more intelligent so they won’t question your authority!!!!!
That speech was written practically right out of that book!.............
Yep, that’ll teach ‘em!
“paid vacation.”
Of course; I think we all assumed that.

They were supposed to finish the job if the sniper failed. Thank God he stood up and foiled their plan.
Nothing Secret about their Service we seen it in action.
8 shots fired before they did anything
These employees usually still receive pay and benefits.
But the suspensions should have been coming from the end of the first week. They had enough information to start that.
I heard that the female that ducked behind Trump wasn’t one of them.
Punishment for the innocent; promotion’s and medals for the guilty.
