Pennsylvania poll positions RFK Jr. as Kamala Harris spoiler — as two-thirds say country is on wrong track

Former President Donald Trump can win Pennsylvania. But a new poll says it’s to his benefit that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. remain a real factor down the stretch.

Otherwise, the Democratic candidate benefits.

That’s a takeaway from a Cygnal survey of 800 likely November voters conducted Aug. 14 and 15.

With Kennedy a candidate, Trump leads the field, albeit well inside the poll’s +/- 3.41% margin of error.

Trump has 44% support. Vice President Kamala Harris sits at 43%.

If I were a Dem, he is by far the better choice.

I’d expect him to drop out if Harris needs his supporters’ votes.

Comrades Kennedy and Harris are just different colored fellow travelers.

I’ve seen this movie before. Why would the ending be any different? Ask yourself by how many votes Trump actually won Pennsylvania in ‘20. That majority was easily eclipsed by the steal machine in Philadelphia. Did anyone go to jail, lose a job or get disciplined? They are all still there but much more accomplished at it this time. I think 2-3% of Trump’s margin was shaved in 2020. If they did 5% this time, who’d stop them?

Down the stretch, quite a few Trump haters will vote for RFK as a protest vote, rather than voting for Kamala.

I’m in PA, and a registered Independent (Constitution Party, actually).

I am constantly getting RFK mailers, about 1 per week, which declare:

“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Pro-Choice. Progressive. Democrat.”

The ads stress how much of a pro-abortionist he is, and omit every other issue. As a suburban independent (though not a female) they must be assuming that I’m like every other independent suburbanite and care primarily about aborshun, aborshun, aborshun.

I can only hope that the Republicans around here are smart enough to be the ones sending these out since they are CLEARLY meant to detract from the support of Queen Kamulatto and Tampon Timmy, and these ads don’t hurt Trump one iota; indirectly, they help him.

Just like, indirectly, RFK *allegedly* helps Trump as per the subject of this thread.

When it comes to politicians, there are few groups dumber or more cowardly than Pennsylvania Republicans. There’s no way they are clever enough to be sending these mailers.

BTW, the ads come from something called SAG PAC Inc. out of Gloucester, Massachusetts. I just hope enough idiot single-issue abortionist Pennsylvanians are getting these, and RFK is peeling off numerous Democrat voters.

No Republican voters should be dumb enough to vote for RFK over Trump, but this is the same state which elects Democrats to everything (Governor, 2 Senators, A.G., majority House delegation, state House, Supreme Court and — possibly — will make it 100% control for Democrats by losing the state Senate in November, and probably at least one other state row office).

Unfortunately, Cygnal is a captive GOP polling group, so you’d expect them to put out hopium like this.
