Former President Donald Trump challenged President Joe Biden to take part in a debate this week, along with a golf match, where the former president would donate $1 million to “any charity” if Biden won.
During the rally from Doral, Florida, Trump told the crowd that he was “offering” Biden the opportunity to “redeem himself” after his lackluster performance at the presidential debate on June 27.

“Tonight, I’m officially offering Joe the chance to redeem himself in front of the entire world,” Trump told the crowd...let’s do another debate this week so that Sleepy Joe Biden can prove to everyone all over the world that he has what it takes to be president. But, this time it will be man to man, no moderators.”
“In the debate, Sleepy Joe also declared that he wanted to test his skills and stamina against mine on the golf course,” Trump continued.

“I’m also officially challenging Crooked Joe to an 18-hole golf match right here,” Trump said, adding that he would “give Joe Biden ten strokes a side.”
“If he wins, I will give the charity of his choice, any charity that he wants, $1 million,” Trump added. “And, I’ll bet you he doesn’t take the offer. Because he’s all talk. But, what that match will do is prove that Joe is in fact, all talk and no action.”
During the presidential debate, Biden and Trump argued about golf swings, with Trump claiming he had “just won two club championships.” Biden claimed that he had gotten his golf handicap down to a six while serving as vice president.

The very last thing Democrats are going to allow is Joe Biden up on a debate stage.

I appreciate Trump very much. That doesn’t mean that I agree with everything he does or says.
And I’m not interested in ‘marketing’. Trump can stand on his own true sentiments and his past record. He doesn’t need to play games like this.
Beating Biden doesn’t require mocking and humiliating - Biden (and his family) have done a good job of that on their own. Biden has become the world’s laughing stock at this point.
But we are desperate for a powerful, straightforward Statesman to run this country. Trump can be that, without falling for the bait that the Democrats put out to trap his ego.
You might be into ‘bread and circuses’ at a time like this. I’m not.

And then Dr. Jill helped Joe down the little steps in front of the stage. He’s gonna carry a golf bag for 18 holes? If he gets into a sand trap, someone will have to rescue him.
My boss, who I played golf with A LOT, was a legitimate six handicap when he was 60.
His handicap rose a little as he aged. I believe he was at an 8-handicap when he retired at 65.
Biden is three years older than my boss, and was 66 years old when he took office as vice president in 2009.
There is no way on God's green earth that Biden ever got within sniffing distance of a 12-handicap, let alone a 6 or an 8.
